EA and Hazelight Studios, in partnership with Turn Me Up Games, will launch the Nintendo Switch 2 version of the co-op action-adventure game 'It Takes Two' in Korea on October 16.
'It Takes Two' follows Cody and May, a couple on the brink of divorce who are magically transformed into dolls, as they embark on an adventure to repair their relationship. The duo navigates each stage's challenges and cooperative elements to progress through the story.
The Nintendo Switch 2 version features enhanced resolution, improved frame rates, and upgraded visual effects. Players can also use the free 'Friend’s Pass' to invite friends who do not own the game to join them.
Furthermore, it supports cross-play among players on Nintendo Switch 2, PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5. Players can also play alongside Nintendo Switch users via the 'GameShare' feature.
Hazelight Studios said, "We are thrilled to finally bring 'It Takes Two' to even more players on Nintendo Switch 2," adding, "Turn Me Up Games did a fantastic job optimizing the game for the Nintendo Switch 2 environment."
'It Takes Two' has won over 90 awards, including Game of the Year at The Game Awards and the D.I.C.E. Awards, and was named Game of the Year in 2021. It is currently available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
