Indonesian developer Agate and UAE publisher Red Dunes Games announced on September 15 that action RPG 'Blades of Mirage' will be showcased at Tokyo Game Show 2026. The game will be exhibited at Booth N03 in Hall 7, and a new trailer has also been released.
'Blades of Mirage' follows protagonist Mira as she adventures through the ancient realm of Brightland, confronting corrupted guardians and solving hidden secrets and puzzles. The game combines fast-paced combat, puzzle-driven exploration, and light RPG elements.
Boss fights are designed around reading enemy attacks and adapting playstyles accordingly. Players must calculate their timing and strategically utilize chosen runes and skills.
Key content includes a storyline about saving the world from six guardians who have abandoned their duty, an adventure tracing Mira's past, and new abilities that impact combat and puzzle-solving. The press release listed a total playtime of 8 hours.
The developers explained that they drew inspiration from 'Death's Door', 'Tunic', and 'Bastion', while reflecting Southeast Asian culture in the game's setting and visual identity. It is set to release on PC and consoles, with a specific release date yet to be announced.
