Seongnam City, the Seongnam Industry Promotion Agency, and the Korea Mobile Game Association will host the 'GXG 2026 x INDIECRAFT Collaboration Exhibition' and the '2026 Connect Fair: K-Game Export Consultation' simultaneously in Pangyo from September 11 to 12.
Both events were organized to support the growth and overseas expansion of domestic small-to-medium and indie game studios. Domestic indie game exhibitions and business consultations targeting overseas partners will be conducted in conjunction in Pangyo.
'INDIECRAFT' is an indie game event hosted by Seongnam City and co-organized by the Seongnam Industry Promotion Agency and the Korea Mobile Game Association. This year, in collaboration with the gaming culture event 'GXG 2026', an offline exhibition will be held in the special exhibition hall on the 1st floor of Pangyo Tech One Tower. Operating hours are from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM on both days, with viewing available starting at 11:00 AM on September 12.
The exhibition hall will feature 51 live booths with developers selected for INDIECRAFT 2026. An unmanned exhibition booth introducing works from the 'Challenger Category', centered on university student teams, will also be operated.
The 'Brazil Special Pavilion', featured for the first time this year, introduces four Brazilian indie games developed by Venn Studios, 2Wedges, Coffeenauts, and Mito Games. During the exhibition, a second round of Focus Group Testing (FGT) user evaluations will also be conducted. The evaluation results will be factored into selecting the TOP 3 in the domestic category, and visitor feedback will be used to improve game completeness.
The '2026 Connect Fair: K-Game Export Consultation' will be held on September 11 in the Space Ballroom on the B1 floor of GRAVITY JOSUN Seoul Pangyo, Autograph Collection. It is a program that connects domestic small-to-medium game companies with overseas publishers and investors through one-on-one meetings to discuss overseas publishing, investment attraction, and localized service.
About 30 overseas partners from the United States, Japan, China, Taiwan, Vietnam, Southeast Asia, Europe, Australia, and other regions are participating in the export consultation. Domestically, around 80 game companies preparing for overseas expansion, including developers selected for INDIECRAFT, have applied to participate.
Lee Ju-yeon, President of the Seongnam Industry Promotion Agency, stated, "We will continue to work hard to discover outstanding companies and support their overseas expansion so that highly capable indie game developers can receive fair evaluation and grow."
Hwang Seong-ik, Chairman of the Korea Mobile Game Association, said, "This year, through our collaboration with 'GXG 2026', more citizens will be able to enjoy indie games," adding, "We will support developers so they can create tangible results with overseas partners through the Connect Fair held on the same day."
