On September 9, NC updated MMORPG 'Aion 2' with the new Sanctuary "Snowfield of Sorrow".
"Snowfield of Sorrow" features the highest difficulty level among all PvE content in 'Aion 2'. Players can defeat the boss "Storm Legion Commander Deltras" to obtain equipment such as Deltras's Seal, Berserk Fear Energy: [True] Weapons, Unleashed White Night Weapons, and Unleashed White Night Guards.
The minimum item level required for entry is 5,800. Depending on difficulty, the entry requirement increases up to 6,200.
NC will award special rewards to the first 20 forces to clear the Hard difficulty of "Snowfield of Sorrow". The first force to complete it will receive "Pet: Golden Void" and the title "First to Shatter the Sword of Frost and Cold". The 2nd through 5th forces will receive "Pet: Silver Void", while forces completing it thereafter will receive "Pet: Bronze Void".
In the newly introduced "Hall of Fame", players can check information on the 1st through 3rd forces that successfully clear the dungeon.
A commendation system to evaluate players who played the dungeon together has also been added. The system activates automatically upon dungeon completion, allowing players to select one of five categories: Outstanding Skill, Reliable Guardian, Dedicated Support, Excellent Leadership, or Kind Mentor.
Alongside this, skill presets have been revamped, and World Marks usable in Fields, Expeditions, Transcendence, Sanctuaries, and the Abyss have been added. A feature to adjust dye pattern sizes has also been applied.
During a livestream on September 8, the development team also showcased upcoming update content. They plan to add an automated tuning feature for "Soul Inscription" that runs until target options are obtained, as well as "Temple of Fire", a new Expedition Trial Dungeon accessible to players with an item level of 4,800 or higher.
