A new route to acquire stat-boosting Elixirs has been added. Defeating the four Great Elementals on the Island of Dreams grants Pure Elixirs, and players can attempt to craft an Elixir Selection Chest by bringing 35 Pure Elixirs and 10 of each High-Grade Gem to Elisha at Giran Square. Elisha is located to the left of Magic Alchemist Moria on the south side of the square.
A successful craft yields an Elixir Selection Chest, but upon failure, all gems are destroyed, and only 30 of the 35 Pure Elixirs are returned. The crafting success rate has not been disclosed.
Among the required gems, sapphires and diamonds alone command millions of Adena. Meanwhile, rubies and emeralds, which previously held almost no value, have seen slightly expanded utility with the introduction of Resist Magic series crafting, raising the possibility of price increases and making the overall cost quite steep.
Of course, since a finished Elixir is a rare and exceptionally expensive item, attempting it may still be worthwhile. However, with the success rate unknown, there is a strong chance of incurring greater losses than simply buying an Elixir outright, so players should weigh their options carefully before committing.
