SKT Wolf: "In the end, victory will always belong to SKT T1."

On the 28th of July, 'SKT T1' brought down the 'Rox Tigers' with a score of 2:0. On the 2 games played, Wolf played Kennen and Alistar, making it easy for Bang and Faker to dish out damage. Wolf also showcased a play in which he threw his own life to save Faker's Lucian.

The following interview features SKT Wolf.

Congratulations on your victory. How do you feel?

Our recent performances were terrible. So last week, I canceled my vacation days to practice. As of now, our team is in the process of recovering from our recent slump.

Regarding today's series, I'm not totally satisfied with the win because we still made mistakes.

If that's the case, can you give us an example of the "mistake" that you mentioned?

While we were preparing for 'dragon', our team had miscommunication regarding grouping and/or split pushing. We still took the advantage at that time, but it could've gone really bad for us.

You are starting to play Alistar more frequently. What are your reasons?

Our team likes to call the 'Moo Cow Alistar' skin, 'Clang Clang Alistar'. He has funny animations and it relieves me from my nervousness during games. There really isn't a special reason for playing him.

You guys have 2 remaining series for the regular split. And SKT is now guaranteed to make it into playoffs. Are you guys satisfied with the team's performance?

Looking back into our previous losing streak, we found that the games we lost could've gone a lot better... we could've more likely than not win those games. Our coach also told us, "It's better for us to lose now than later," every time we lost. He's right. If we fell into this slump during playoffs or Worlds, things would've gone for the worst. Everyone in the team expected a slump to hit us eventually. We're now going to play a lot better.

The fans are worried about your health.

It's a problem that has been persisting since 2015. Every time I visit the hospital, the doctors say that I'm fine. They are saying that it could be a possible nerve disease. But I'm used to it now, so I am able to take care of it. I don't think it's anything to really worry about.

Your recent twitter post became an issue. What was going on in your mind at the time?

It had been a really long time since I drank, and our team was also a big mess. I personally felt sorry for my teammates, so I left that post.

Any last words?

We are starting to get back to form. We have been practicing hard ever since our return from 'Rift Rivals'. We will only improve from now on, so to our fans, please don't worry about us. It might be too soon to say this, but... "In the end, victory will always belong to SKT T1."
