Pokémon Sleep, a sleep-tracking application operated by The Pokémon Company, has teased an accommodation project modeled after a Poké Ball in collaboration with Japanese co-ownership property platform NOT A HOTEL.

A Poké Ball you can actually sleep in is being built in Hokkaido. Partnering with Japanese co-ownership property platform NOT A HOTEL, this project introduces an accommodation facility shaped like a Poké Ball, marking the first collaboration between the two companies. The official announcement was made on the 1st through official Pokémon social media accounts, with further details being revealed sequentially via a dedicated website and social media.

Titled "A Poké Ball You Can Stay In" ('泊まれるモンスターボール'), this project was planned with the goal of creating a space that provides comfortable sleep and relaxation for humans, just as a Poké Ball is a comfortable haven for Pokémon. NOT A HOTEL shared that by applying its accumulated architectural design and technological expertise, it has transformed a world inspired by the Poké Ball into a physical space where guests can actually stay.

The Pokémon Company also took to social media to highlight key elements that determine sleep quality—such as lighting conditions, acoustic quietness, airflow, and bedding selection—inviting guests to experience the ultimate sleep environment inside the Poké Ball hotel. Photos of the hotel that were not included in the teaser video were also revealed.

The released photos reveal the hotel's interior and bedding through a slightly opened gap in the Poké Ball. While the exact location has not been disclosed, the hotel is known to be situated in the heart of Hokkaido's vast nature. Outside the hotel windows, panoramic views of the natural landscape unfold.

However, this overnight stay will not be open to everyone, as it is a limited event reserved exclusively for campaign winners. Details including entry methods, interior designs, and the full scope of the stay experience will be announced separately on Tuesday the 15th, and the venue will reportedly not be open to the general public during the campaign period.
