Capcom will host its online broadcast "Capcom Spotlight | TGS 2026" for approximately 40 minutes starting at 11:00 PM on September 16, the day before Tokyo Game Show 2026 (TGS 2026) opens. The program will present the latest information on four titles, including Monster Hunter Wilds: Ascendance, while Capcom's TGS booth will feature a show floor lineup that includes world-first and Japan-first playable demos.

The stream can be watched on Capcom's and TGS's official YouTube channels, among other platforms. The direct viewing link will be released at a later date. The scheduled broadcast titles and booth demo lineup are as follows.

At the center of the show floor lineup is Monster Hunter Wilds: Ascendance, scheduled for release in 2027. Capcom will host the world's first playable demo of the major expansion at its TGS 2026 booth. Across all demo quests, players can experience new combat actions utilizing the "Boost Bracer."

The demo consists of three quests. The first is set in the new field "Airborne Ruins," where players face an unidentified flying monster. Players can also freely explore the locale while riding a Seikret. The second quest involves hunting an Elder Dragon returning from previous titles. The identity of this Elder Dragon has not yet been announced and will be revealed during the Capcom Spotlight broadcast on the 16th.

The final option is a "Chatacabra Slay Quest" tailored for newcomers to Monster Hunter Wilds. It features a single-player-exclusive setup with an included tutorial. The new monster and returning Elder Dragon quests will support both single-player and multiplayer play.

Dragon's Dogma 2: Dark Arisen will make its playable debut in Japan. Players can select one of three options: investigating an anomaly in the new region "Norgan," battling the ice dragon "Fimbul," or taking on a "Griffin Hunt" in the base game region. As the content has been adjusted for the demo, specific details may differ from the final release.

Mega Man: Dual Override will also offer its Japan-first playable demo. Onsite, attendees can play Stages 1 through 3 of "Twinkle Girl" as Mega Man and experience the new "Override" system.

Onimusha: Way of the Sword, Pragmata, and Street Fighter 6 will also be playable at the booth. Specific demo details for these three titles will be announced at a later date. The Onimusha: Way of the Sword demo will be restricted to visitors aged 18 and older following ID age verification.

The mobile game Monster Hunter Outlanders will showcase a new field announced under its Japanese title, "Kuchihate no Fuchi" (朽ち果ての淵), for the first time. The demo content includes exploring the locale using gliders and ziplines while hunting a "Radiant Radobaan" and "Azure Rathalos."

Exhibits beyond playable demos are also planned. Costumes used in the filming of the movie Street Fighter: The Movie and official merchandise will be on display, alongside a life-sized Zangief photo zone. A shooting range co-hosted by Resident Evil and Tokyo Marui will be open to visitors aged 18 and older.

TGS 2026 will run from September 17 to 21 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan. September 17 and 18 are designated as Business Days, while September 19 through 21 will be open to the public.
