Netmarble (CEO Byung-gyu Kim) announced on August 26 that it has launched global pre-registration for its vampire-themed MMORPG 'Vampir.'
Officially launched in South Korea on August 26 last year, Vampir achieved major commercial success, ranking No. 1 in grossing on both the Google Play Store and Apple App Store, reaching 200,000 peak concurrent users, and generating $40 million in revenue within its first month of release.
Furthermore, following its launch in Asian regions including Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macao this year, the game achieved strong performance beyond Korea—ranking No. 1 in pre-downloads and reaching 2nd in grossing on the Apple App Store in Taiwan within a day of release, as well as hitting No. 1 in popularity and entering the Top 10 peak grossing chart on Japan's App Store.
This global pre-registration is available via the Google Play Store, Apple App Store, Epic Games Store, and the official 'Vampir' brand website. In addition, players who pre-register on mobile app stores or PC, or join the official Discord channel, will receive various rewards.
Meanwhile, 'Vampir', which launched on August 26 last year, is an MMORPG developed with key creators behind Lineage 2: Revolution, a title credited with elevating the standards of domestic mobile gaming. Featuring a distinct theme combining vampires with a dark fantasy medieval world, it is currently in service across mobile and PC platforms.
