Smilegate announced on Wednesday (the 19th) that it has released a major update for its ALL CLASS MMORPG 'LORDNINE' (developed by NX3 Games), headlined by the complete overhaul of 'Unarmed Mastery' into 'Combat Mastery.'

With this update, the 'Unarmed Mastery' has been extensively reworked and renamed 'Combat Mastery.' While retaining the romantic appeal of unarmed combat, the update ensures that improved combat capabilities are clearly felt. Combat Mastery allows players to take on the role of an offensive Tank using powerful Buffs and shields, while also utilizing area-of-effect Skills and status-effect debuffs to actively participate in combat depending on the situation.

The update also introduces a new 'Mount Awakening' system. Players can use 'Mount Cubes' and 'Mount Materials' as alchemy ingredients to obtain 'Mount Awakening Stones.' These stones can then be consumed to attempt an awakening for any mount with a 'Stirrup' level of 1 or higher. The 'Mount Awakening Points' gained through this process boost various Character stats, such as Anti-Magic Power.

In the World region, the game introduces 'Void Bosses,' which are significantly more powerful than existing Boss monsters. 'Void Icarusia' will be the first to appear, with the remaining four Void Bosses to be released sequentially in the future. Void Bosses spawn one hour after the existing boss is defeated and remain for six hours. Upon their Elimination, players are guaranteed to receive new Mythic grade Weapons and Armor, as well as 'Superior Dragon Bead Dice,' along with various other Rewards such as 'Saddle' and other mount enhancement materials.

To celebrate this major update, Smilegate is launching new events alongside the ongoing 2nd-anniversary celebrations. First, the 'HOT Hot Special Time Push Event' will run from the 26th to the 30th. Players who log in during designated times can receive various Summon cards and gold. Notably, on the 29th, players can receive an additional 'Master Promotion Scroll' on top of the standard rewards.

Second, the 'HOT Hot Special Flame Mission Event' will run until the 1st of next month. Players can complete in-game missions to earn 'Flame Coins,' which can be used in the event Shop to purchase various Summon cards and 'Dungeon Recharge Tickets.' Additionally, players can purchase 'Shaved Ice Selection Chests' for a chance to obtain a 'Master Promotion Scroll' upon opening them.

Finally, the 'HOT Hot Special Attendance Event' will run until the 16th of next month. Simply by logging in, players can receive items including mount awakening materials, gold bundle Chests, 'Legend Ability Book Selection Chest I,' and Master Promotion Scrolls. Smilegate is also preparing various other events, with further details available via notices on the website. This update also adds a new swimsuit-themed avatar Skin, 'Temptation on the Sand: Ocean.'
