Jan Theysen, Game Director of 'Warhammer 40k: Dawn of War IV', has announced that the game's release date has been moved to December 3. Although development was initially targeting a September launch, the schedule has been adjusted to further refine the game's quality.
Theysen cited the incorporation of user feedback and quality improvements as the reasons for the delay. "We need additional time to integrate feedback, fix bugs, improve performance, and polish the overall experience," Theysen said. "We want to ensure that every player has the best possible experience from day one."
In the coming weeks, the development team plans to release additional gameplay footage, Battlefield reports, and in-depth analyses, along with an updated Year 1 roadmap.
The new title 'Dawn of War 4' will launch with four playable factions, including the Adeptus Mechanicus, Necrons, and Greenskins. This marks a difference from its predecessor, 'Dawn of War 3,' which was released in 2017 with only three starting factions: Space Marines, Greenskins, and Eldar.
The 'Warhammer 40k: Dawn of War' series is a strategy simulator game based on the 'Warhammer 40K' IP, with the first title in the series released in 2004.
