With the introduction of the Tower of God and patches easing the difficulty of hunting grounds, character growth in Sol: Enchantment has become slightly easier. However, the slow EXP gain after level 40 remains frustrating. While the Mountains are the most efficient for pure EXP—so much so that the game is sometimes called 'Mountains Online'—you cannot stay there forever due to issues like monopoly, item farming, and the monotony of repetitive grinding. On the other hand, moving straight to higher-level hunting grounds like Beast's Pass presents a significant barrier to entry due to high stat requirements.
There is no 'all-in-one' hunting ground that perfectly balances farming and EXP. Ultimately, it is best to find a compromise based on your current stats, needs for EXP, material farming, and safety. To help, I personally tested five alternative hunting grounds for one hour each, using the same criteria to track EXP and Nine acquisition. Check the characteristics of each area to find the one that best fits your current situation. The character used for testing was a level 49 Ranger using only the Epic Skill 'Mystic Bolt'.

For Nine Farming: Undead Forest
Undead Forest showed the highest Nine acquisition rate, yielding approximately 92k Nine per hour. Given the costs for Nine Cores and crafting, and combined with the roughly 0.55% EXP gained per hour, this is a place where you can effectively farm one Nine Core per hour, which can then be converted into Diamonds.
While Rare grade equipment drops here, the market price is stuck at the 10-Diamond minimum, and there are no standout loot items—even Enchant Scrolls (Divine) are hard to come by, with less than one per day even after 24 hours of grinding. However, it is relatively more comfortable than the crowded Undead Ruins, resulting in less loss of Nine due to overlapping kills. It is a reliable resource farming spot for users who need large amounts of pure Nine for crafting +3 El's Bracelets or purchasing Skillbooks.

For Nine Core Farming: Cultist Temple
The Cultist Temple yielded about 35k Nine and 0.48% EXP per hour. Among the tested areas, it ranks low in both EXP and Nine acquisition, making it inefficient if you only look at the basic metrics.
Although mentioned as a place to farm Unique equipment, it is difficult to expect any real benefit beyond Nine Cores. It is best to stay here only if your specific goal is to farm Nine Cores for the collection or for sale on the Market.

For Crafting Materials and Diamonds: Cursed Forest
Cursed Forest recorded about 67k Nine and 0.5% EXP per hour. While the Nine yield is lower than in the Undead Forest, it offers decent EXP.
The main reward in the Cursed Forest is the Intermediate Material Selection Chest. I consistently obtained about two chests per hour. Through these chests, you can acquire essential crafting materials like intermediate gems to craft accessories yourself or sell them on the Market to secure Diamonds. This is a recommended hunting ground when you want to balance material farming, Diamond earnings, and steady EXP growth.

For EXP and a 'Lucky Hit': Caltheon Forest
Caltheon Forest recorded about 39k Nine and 0.58% EXP per hour. While the Nine yield is low, it shows high EXP efficiency, comparable to the Artaron Temple.
The advantage of Caltheon Forest is the drop of Unique Skillbooks, which sell for 1.7 million to 3.4 million Nine in the shop. However, the drop rate is very low, so it is not worth spending your time here solely for that. It is better to approach it with a light heart: focus on the high EXP and consider an Unique Skillbook drop as a lucky bonus.

For High EXP and God Armor Materials: Artaron Temple
Artaron Temple showed the highest EXP efficiency, recording about 36k Nine and 0.58% EXP per hour. However, since the drop rate patch, the perceived drop rate of Rune Chests has plummeted. Even when hunting with a squad, you might only get one, so entering with the sole purpose of 'spec-up' via Rune Chests is no longer valid.
Instead, its value remains as the lowest-level hunting ground that drops God Armor materials used for new crafting, as well as being a top-tier source of EXP. Since the monsters have high stats, potion consumption and losses from overlapping kills are significant. Visit only after you have secured enough survivability to focus on pure growth and God Armor materials.
