SNK Corporation has announced that Season 3 of the fighting game 'FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves' (hereinafter 'FATAL FURY: CotW') will begin on July 23, 2026. Under the theme 'DESTINED FOR REVENGE,' Season 3 will introduce a variety of in-game content, including new characters and stages, on a monthly basis.

'FATAL FURY: CotW' has maintained a steady stream of updates since its launch, and Season 3 is set to bring further changes to the competitive environment.

Centered on the concept of 'those burdened by the fate of revenge,' Season 3 will feature the sequential arrival of Rick Strowd (July), Duck King (August), Kim Kaphwan (September), and Laocorn (November), with additional unannounced characters joining in October and December. Further details for each character will be released sequentially.

With the start of Season 3, individual sales for certain DLC characters previously available only through the Season Pass will begin, and the price of the Legend Edition has been adjusted.

'FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves' is the latest entry in SNK's 'Fatal Fury' series, which led the fighting game boom of the 1990s following its 1991 debut. It is the first new title in the series in 26 years, following 1999's 'Garou: Mark of the Wolves.' While inheriting the series' identity, it introduces a unique art style, the REV System, and two selectable control types, offering features that cater to players ranging from beginners to experts.
