From the 20th to the 29th of this month, the UNESCO World Heritage Committee's 'K-Heritage House' will be open for ten days at BEXCO Exhibition Center 1 in Busan. There, Devsisters is showcasing 17 physical posters of South Korea's World Heritage sites, reimagined through the lens of Cookie Run.
Created by over 20 Devsisters artists, these works offer domestic and international visitors a unique experience that blends the excellence of Korea's millennia-old heritage with the creative world of Cookie Run.
To commemorate the 48th session of the World Heritage Committee, a large-scale illustration titled 'Cookie Run K-Heritage Theme Park'—a giant amusement park featuring Korea's World Heritage sites—is also on display. This 1.5-meter-wide piece captures the beauty of these sites through the unique aesthetic of Cookie Run, depicting both the vibrant energy of a sunny day and the serene atmosphere of the night illuminated by 'Moonlight Cookie.'
Since last weekend, the Haeundae Beach Event Plaza has hosted a 'K-Heritage with Cookie Run' photo zone and pop-up store in honor of the 48th session of the World Heritage Committee. A 7-meter-tall 'Brave Cookie' statue in front of the Haeundae sign greets visitors, alongside three photo zones featuring posters of the Korean Tidal Flats, Seokguram Grotto and Bulguksa Temple, and Jongmyo Shrine. Additionally, a massive media facade on the exterior of the Grand Josun Busan hotel has been drawing attention by broadcasting the 'Cookie Run K-Heritage Theme Park' video.
The pop-up store offers new Cookie Run merchandise, including souvenirs exclusive to the 48th World Heritage Committee session and Busan, as well as weekend-only lucky boxes. The lucky boxes proved highly popular, selling out within 30 minutes of the store opening on both days of the first weekend.

The 'Brave Cookie Tour in Busan,' which uses city tour buses decorated with Cookie Run themes to visit major local landmarks, will run until the 16th of next month. The 'K-Heritage Special Course,' operated exclusively during the 48th World Heritage Committee session, allows visitors to travel to the BEXCO exhibition and Haeundae Event Plaza; tickets for this program sold out within three minutes of their release on the 25th of last month.
The event drew not only Cookie Run fans but also families visiting Busan and international tourists. Bae Da-hyun (11), who attended with family, shared her experience: "My younger sibling and I play Cookie Run: Kingdom together, so we're planning to visit everything—the Haeundae pop-up store yesterday, the Busan City Tour bus today, and the BEXCO exhibition next week. Thanks to the Cookie Run City Tour, we even got to visit Gamcheon Culture Village, and it's been so much fun."
On the 25th and 26th, in collaboration with the National Research Institute of Maritime Cultural Heritage, a Brave Cookie character will appear on a Joseon Tongsinsa ship at the photo zone in Yongho Bay, Busan. From the 27th to the 29th, visitors can also find the character at the National Research Institute of Maritime Cultural Heritage booth within the K-Heritage House at BEXCO. The Joseon Tongsinsa ship is a traditional vessel used by diplomatic envoys dispatched to Japan during the Joseon Dynasty. Cookie Run has been participating in the commemorative voyage for the 48th session of the UNESCO World Heritage Committee, which began in Goheung on the 11st and has traveled through Yeosu and Tongyeong before arriving in Busan.
Online touchpoints have also been established for global users unable to visit in person. Since the 3rd of this month, Devsisters has been hosting the 'World Heritage Committee X Cookie Run: Digital Exhibition of Korea's World Heritage' via the official Cookie Run X and Instagram accounts. By sequentially releasing 17 Cookie Run World Heritage posters with commentary in both Korean and English, they have increased accessibility, allowing anyone to easily experience K-Heritage. The content has garnered significant interest from domestic and international users, recording approximately 8 million total views across social media platforms.
Furthermore, in-game promotions based on three major Cookie Run titles are underway. In 'Cookie Run: OvenBreak,' players can complete missions to finish the 'Cookie Run K-Heritage Theme Park' illustration until the 29th. In 'Cookie Run: Kingdom,' a puzzle event allows players to earn Cookie Run World Heritage poster decor items until the 30th. 'Cookie Run: Classic' is also hosting a World Heritage photo challenge until August 17th. These in-game contents can also be experienced at a dedicated booth within the K-Heritage House.
Additionally, brand collaborations with Photo Gray and Voila Ice Cream will run until August 16th. Photo Gray is offering 'Brave Cookie Tour in Busan' themed photo frames at six locations in Busan, including the Haeundae, Gwangalli Beach, Seomyeon (1st and 2nd), Pusan National University, and Jeonpo branches. Voila Ice Cream is offering new, exclusive Cookie Run menu items at locations nationwide, including the Busan Marine City, Seoul Daehak-ro, Daejeon Doryong, and Gangwon Sokcho branches.
