Nexon (co-CEOs Kang Dae-hyun and Kim Jung-wook) announced on the 10th that it has updated its mobile MMORPG 'MapleStory M' to expand Union content, including the addition of the new top-tier 'Ultimate Union' grade.

This update introduces 'Ultimate Union,' a new grade that surpasses the previous top-tier 'Supreme Union.' The growth path has been extended to cover a total Union level range of 13k to 15,000, with corresponding new total Union level effects and achievements.

Additionally, an 'SS' grade has been added to Union Champion content. The 'SS' grade evaluation battle features a high-difficulty challenge against the boss 'Darknell,' and achieving this grade allows players to activate a Champion Emblem that grants a 'critical hit damage' increase. Furthermore, the number of Union Champion slots has been increased from three to four.

In addition, the 5th job skill enhancement system, 'V Matrix,' is being improved with a more intuitive core enhancement method. With this update, 'V Points' will be immediately credited based on the type of Core Gemstone used, and these points can be used interchangeably for all 'V Matrix' functions, including unlocking and enhancing cores. Furthermore, the enhancement core stacking feature will be changed to six fixed enhancement cores per job, and special cores can now be unlocked and extended using 'V Points.' The 'V Matrix' UI has also been redesigned to improve usability in mobile environments.

Two new regions have been added to the 'Boundary of Space' content: the third region, 'Limina,' and the fourth region, 'Burning Cernium,' along with six new sub-dungeons. Players are granted 60 minutes of free play time daily, and participation rewards include EXP and 'Anti-Magic Stones.'

Furthermore, various growth support events to assist with Union development will run until August 12. 'Spiegelmann's Golden Strawberry Farm' offers one free entry per day, allowing players to select up to three characters (level 100 or higher) to enter the dungeon. Upon completion, all participating characters receive EXP based on their level, and EXP rewards are also granted to characters who are not currently logged in.

In the 'Union Mission Point Rally' event, players can earn rewards such as the 'Union Champion Chair' and 'Core Gemstones' by completing missions like boss eliminations and field monster eliminations to accumulate points. Additionally, 'Union Gardening' provides EXP to up to six characters, with the amount determined by the Union level range.
