The July 8 (Wed) update has introduced a variety of new equipment to Lineage Classic. Over a dozen items have been added, ranging from boss-dropped exclusive gear to items dropped by regular monsters. Among these, players can find top-tier equipment such as the Sayha's Bow and the Death Blade.

So, what are the unique advantages of these new items compared to existing equipment, and how can they be utilized? We have compiled the stats for each piece of equipment along with information verified from the original Lineage game.

■ Sayha's Bow

Sayha's Bow is a top-tier weapon comparable to the Moon Long Bow. It has a base damage of 4/4, with options for Ranged Damage +5 and Ranged Accuracy +2. It also features a 'phantom arrow' function, allowing it to be used without equipped arrows.

Because the damage from weapon options is a fixed value, it is significantly more advantageous in terms of attack power than most other bows. The commonly used 'Long Bow,' a high-damage weapon, has a base damage of 3 (average 2) and a Ranged Damage +3 option, resulting in an average damage of 5—the same level. However, Sayha's Bow adds Ranged Accuracy +2, giving it a clear advantage over the Long Bow.

Another advantage is the phantom arrow. Simply put, because Sayha's Bow allows for attacks without carrying arrows, players can use the saved weight capacity for potions or other consumables.

■ Mana Orb

This is a shield that can be equipped by Mages. It provides a base Defense of -2, INT +1, and Max MP +100. Think of it as an upgraded version of the Spellbook.

While it significantly increases Max MP, it is dropped by bosses like Kaspar, Black Elder, and the Ice Queen, making it unlikely to be accessible to the average player. Among regular monsters, it is dropped by 'Ghosts' in the Ivory Tower, though the drop rate is expected to be quite low.

■ Ice Queen's Staff

The Ice Queen's Staff is a weapon dropped by the boss, the Ice Queen. It has a base damage of 2/3 and comes with a Melee Accuracy +3 option.

Although not listed in the tooltip, the Ice Queen's Staff has an effect that triggers the 'Cone of Cold' magic upon attack. It was difficult to confirm whether this feature was intentionally removed in Lineage Classic or if it was simply missing from the tooltip. However, since the Lightning Sword was confirmed to have a magic trigger despite a missing tooltip, this staff is expected to perform exceptionally well.

■ Demon's Staff

The Demon's Staff is a weapon specialized for increasing a Mage's skill damage. With a base damage of 1/1, it has almost no function as a melee weapon, but its SP +5 option makes it highly valuable in combat environments where skills are actively used.

Another characteristic is that the Demon's Staff is made of bone, meaning it has no safe enchantment zone and can break starting from +1. Since it has no function as a melee weapon and SP does not increase with further enchantment, there is no reason to enchant it. It can be obtained from the boss, Demon.

■ Baphomet's Staff

Baphomet's Staff is a melee-specialized weapon with characteristics opposite to the Demon's Staff. It has a base damage of 2/3, Melee Damage +5, and Melee Accuracy +7. As the name suggests, it can be obtained by defeating Baphomet.

Being made of bone, it has the disadvantage of potentially breaking from +1, but it features high damage and accuracy bonuses, along with a 'Raging Eruption' magic trigger upon attack. While not currently shown in the tooltip, the fact that the Lightning Sword's magic trigger was confirmed suggests that Baphomet's Raging Eruption is likely still present.

In particular, because Baphomet's Staff held a high status in the original Lineage, it is a weapon highly anticipated by Mages.

■ Berith's Staff

Berith's Staff is a weapon with options focused on sustainability rather than raw firepower. It can be obtained by defeating Berith, who appears in the Windwood Castle Dungeon. It has an attack power of 2/3 and options for MP recovery +10 and SP +2. Like others, it is made of bone and may break from +1.

As it significantly boosts MP recovery, it is an item that can be widely used by Mages. On the other hand, it is difficult to use as a melee weapon, and since it lacks specific offensive options, there is less historical experimental data for this weapon compared to others.

■ Death Blade

This is a Knight-exclusive weapon obtained by defeating the elite monster 'Death' in the upper floors of the Ivory Tower. The Death Blade features the same attack power as the Samurai Long Sword, the unbreakable property of Damascus, and the Undead bonus damage from its silver material. While the Samurai Long Sword offers high damage and Accuracy +2, the Death Blade is considered one of the strongest swords currently available due to its combination of these features.

The safe enchantment level is 6, and it has no special trigger effects. As many servers have the Ivory Tower under monopoly, it will not be easy for regular users to get their hands on a Death Blade.

■ Flame Sword, Flame Bow

These are new weapons dropped by Phoenix, Ifrit, Burning Archer (bow only), and Burning Warrior (sword only). Both the sword and bow are exclusive to Elves and cannot be equipped by other classes.

The Flame Sword has 14/6 damage, silver material, and Melee Accuracy +4. The Flame Bow has 3/3 damage, Ranged Damage +4, and Ranged Accuracy +2. Currently, in Lineage Classic, melee Elves are not very popular, so attention is focused on the Flame Bow.

The Flame Bow can be considered superior to the Long Bow and Crossbow, but inferior to Sayha's Bow and the Moon Long Bow. Its base damage of 3/3 is on par with the Long Bow, its Ranged Damage option is higher than both the Long Bow and Crossbow, and its Ranged Accuracy is 1 lower than the Crossbow.

It is an attractive item for those who cannot easily obtain the expensive Moon Long Bow or Sayha's Bow, but unlike the original game, it is not provided as a level 50 quest reward, so it will be harder to acquire.

■ Lightning Sword

The Lightning Sword is a weapon with a decent 13/12 damage, Melee Damage +1, and Melee Accuracy +1. Compared to the Samurai Long Sword or Death Blade, its damage against small monsters is lower, but its damage against large monsters is higher, allowing for more balanced hunting.

Additionally, although currently missing from the tooltip, the Lightning Sword has a separate effect: Magic Trigger: Electric Shock. Upon attack, it has a chance to deal magic damage to the enemy accompanied by a lightning strike effect.

The Lightning Sword is currently dropping on the Kenlauhel server, where actual firepower tests have been conducted. Even at +7, the base enchantment level for a Blessed Day, it has been evaluated as comparable to a highly enchanted Samurai Long Sword. While more long-term verification is needed, it is certainly a weapon that follows a different path than existing ones.

■ Cold Spear

The Cold Spear is a one-handed spear with 15/15 damage. It comes with a Melee Damage +1 option. As a one-handed spear, it allows for the use of a shield and also possesses a unbreakable property, making it useful for hunting monsters like Golems.

The high base damage and the spear's unique 2-cell attack range are the advantages of the Cold Spear. However, even as a one-handed spear, it is known to have a slower attack speed than swords, so it is evaluated that it does not necessarily perform better than swords despite the visible damage stats.

Additionally, the Cold Spear also has a magic trigger effect called 'Cold Chaser,' which can deal additional magic damage.

■ Greatsword

The Greatsword is a two-handed sword with high 17/14 damage. Its high damage against small targets makes it advantageous for PVP. In particular, it allows players to use Invisibility + Cloak, approach, land a Shock Stun, and deal massive damage without needing to swap weapons.

However, the penalty of not being able to wear a shield with a two-handed sword is significant, making it less efficient for hunting. Furthermore, top-tier players who use Invisibility + Cloak are already accustomed to landing a Shock Stun and quickly swapping weapons, making it somewhat ambiguous to enchant a new Greatsword specifically for PVP.

■ Crimson Lance

The Crimson Lance is a spear with 15/15 damage, the same as the Cold Spear, but it is a two-handed weapon. It provides Melee Accuracy +1 and Max HP +50.

The Crimson Lance is made of Mythril, allowing for bonus damage against Undead, but it has not been very popular due to the difficulty of securing defense as a two-handed spear and its slow attack speed. It was rarely used in the original game and was eventually pushed out by next-generation weapons, so high enchantment is not recommended.

■ Stone Gloves

Stone Gloves are regular monster-dropped equipment obtained by defeating Stone Golems, Ice Golems, Lava Golems, and Iron Golems. Note that some Golems have different drop tables depending on the area: Stone Golems in the Talking Island/Sandworm/Main Dungeons, and Ice Golems in the Oren Snowy Walls and Ice Crystal Cave drop the gloves. Stone Golems in the fields or Ice Golems on Dream Island do not drop them.

The advantage of Stone Gloves is their base Defense of 3, with an additional Damage Reduction +1. They are far superior to Steel Gloves and can be considered better than Crystal Gloves.

The downside is their weight. While Crystal Gloves weigh 20 and Steel Gloves weigh 40, Stone Gloves weigh 50. Although all classes can use them, classes like Elves, for whom weight management is tricky, might find the Stone Gloves less appealing when considering options like the Ranged Accuracy of Archer Gloves.

■ Sea Cloak

The Sea Cloak is an item not typically used for general purposes; it provides Defense 2 and Charisma +1. Because of the Charisma boost, it can be worn by Masters who need the stat, but since Masters can wear the 'Master's Dignity' cloak (All Stats +1) as a level 30 quest reward, there is no real need to wear the Sea Cloak.

The only class that might use this cloak is a Summoner Mage, but since Summoner Mages are not very popular in Lineage Classic, there is no significant reason to wear the Sea Cloak.
