NVIDIA has announced the integration of its DLSS technology into four new game titles. New titles featuring NVIDIA DLSS, Reflex, and ray tracing effects are being added weekly, continuing the company's commitment to supporting GeForce RTX users.

Last week, Valve kicked off 'Steam Next Fest.' This event features limited-time demos for upcoming titles, including the open beta for 'Mortal Shell 2' and a demo for 'The Sinking City 2,' alongside many titles supporting DLSS and RTX technologies. Additionally, 'Splitgate 2' (Impulse) has launched with DLSS support, and 'Subnautica 2' has been upgraded to NVIDIA DLSS 3.5 Super Resolution.

Currently in development by Cold Symmetry and Playstack, 'Mortal Shell 2' is an action RPG that expands on the Soulslike combat system of its predecessor. It features enhanced weapon upgrade options, more freedom in exploration, and an interconnected open world structure. Players will traverse ruined temples, forests, and frozen tombs on their way to a bone-constructed castle, with over 60 dungeons scattered across the map.

Slated for an official release later this year, 'Mortal Shell 2' is currently available in open beta, allowing players to experience everything from the prologue to the first exploration area. Players possess a fallen 'shell' to begin the journey of the 'Harbinger,' navigating through beacon purifications, dungeon crawls, and mini-boss fights to reach Magdalena, the 'Lady of the Forest.' Progressing beyond the Marrow Keep area unlocks a prologue skip feature and the special 'Flayed Harbinger' costume for the full game. The open beta supports DLSS Super Resolution, Frame Generation, and ray-traced reflections and global illumination, and is available for download now.

Frogwares' new title, 'The Sinking City 2,' is a Lovecraftian game set in 1920s America, specifically in the city of Arkham, which has been devastated by a supernatural flood. The protagonist, occult investigator Charles Reed, must traverse the submerged city to save his lover, Fay, who has fallen into a deep sleep due to a botched dream ritual. Along the way, he must face hordes of otherworldly monsters known as 'Slithers' that reanimate and inhabit corpses. A one-hour playable demo has been released ahead of the official launch on August 18, featuring support for DLSS Super Resolution and Frame Generation.

Developed by 1047 Games, 'Splitgate 2' (Impulse) is a 6v6 team-based movement shooter. Players can gain a tactical advantage using wall-running, grapple hooks, holo-jumps, and P.A.I.N.T. bombs that alter the terrain. Each zone of the Freehold map is designed with varying elevations and movement paths, and players can even turn the tide of battle by piloting mechs. 'Splitgate 2' entered early access on June 24 and supports DLSS Dynamic Frame Generation, Super Resolution, and NVIDIA Reflex to reduce latency and improve responsiveness.

Developed by Unknown Worlds, 'Subnautica 2' is an underwater survival adventure set on an alien planet. After humanity leaves its home world due to conflict, it attempts to settle on a new planet with the support of the Alterra corporation, only to face unexpected circumstances when the transport ship, the Cicada, encounters trouble. Players can engage in online co-op with up to three people, using the small Tadpole submarine to explore the ecosystem and design their own bases. Since its early access launch in May, 'Subnautica 2' has seen strong sales and has supported DLSS Super Resolution and Frame Generation from day one. It has now been upgraded to the latest Super Resolution model, providing GeForce RTX users with improved image quality and frame rates.
