WEMADE announced on the 10th that it has selected 250 Korean representatives to compete in the Legend Match, part of the global esports tournament 'YMIR Cup World Championship Season 2.

The YMIR Cup World Championship is an esports tournament based on the server-versus-server battles that serve as core content in WEMADE's flagship MMORPG, Legend of YMIR. WEMADE will host the Season 2 championship at the SOOP Colosseum in Sangam, Seoul, from the 27th to the 28th of this month.

WEMADE selected the 250 Korean representatives based on their combat power rankings among all applicants. These players will compete in the Legend Match on the 28th, the second day of the tournament, against the winning server of the World Championship Season 2.

This Legend Match is specifically designed to bridge the power gap caused by the difference in release dates between the domestic and global versions, ensuring a fairer competitive environment.

The Korean national team and the top 250 players from the World Championship Season 2 winning server will be matched one-on-one by rank, with key conditions such as combat power and Equipment Grade balanced to ensure an equal playing field. As a result, player control, strategy, and teamwork will be the decisive factors in the outcome.
