Exbleative has made a surprise announcement and immediate Steam release of its alien planet racing game, 'Exo Rally Championship,' during the PC Gaming Show.
'Exo Rally Championship' is the latest title from the developer behind the indie hit 'Exo One.' Set on alien planets, this off-road racing game challenges players to compete for the championship title, racing against the clock in a rover equipped with RCS thrusters across harsh environments.
Players speed through procedurally generated stages, battling weather and terrain brutal enough to destroy their hardware. The game features a hardcore off-road physics simulation with realistic tire models, drivetrains, and a damage system, requiring players to navigate treacherous paths using fuel-limited RCS thrusters for jumps, landings, and mid-air control.
The game offers a wide range of content, including a 20-hour career mode inspired by real-world events like the WRC, Baja, and Dakar rallies. It also supports online rallies to compete against friends, daily challenges, and a stage editor that allows players to create and share stages up to 10 square kilometers in size.
'Exo Rally Championship' is available now on Steam. The developer, Exbleative, is a three-person team led by Jay Weston, the creator of 'Exo One,' with publishing handled by Future Friends Games, known for titles such as 'CloverPit'.
