MINTROCKET has unveiled a live-action trailer for 'DREDGE,' a major DLC for 'DAVE THE DIVER,' during the PC Gaming Show.

The trailer was produced in collaboration with The Asylum, the film production company known for 'Sharknado' and 'Mega Gator.' Directed and written by Anthony C. Ferrante, who helmed the 'Sharknado' series, the trailer intercuts live-action performances with new gameplay footage from the expansion. It depicts familiar characters like Dave, Cobra, and Bancho venturing into a strange land inhabited by bizarre new figures.

Director Anthony C. Ferrante stated, "Bringing the extraordinary world of DAVE THE DIVER to life in live-action was an amazing experience. Working closely with MINTROCKET, we were able to capture the game's fun, lighthearted, and action-packed essence along with its charming characters." Hwang Jae-ho, CEO of MINTROCKET, explained, "We always wanted to try something different, and since many of our developers are fans of The Asylum's films, we decided to propose this collaboration."

'DREDGE' is a story-driven expansion that sees Dave step into a new environment: freshwater. The content follows Dave as he takes on new responsibilities, meets unique local residents, reunites with old friends, and explores unknown waters filled with strange flora and fauna. It adds approximately 10 hours of gameplay, along with new encounters, mechanics, and minigames not found in the base game or previous DLCs.

'DAVE THE DIVER: DREDGE' will be released simultaneously worldwide on PC and consoles on June 18, 2026. Steam pre-orders begin on June 11. The original 'DAVE THE DIVER' is available on PS4/5, Nintendo Switch/Switch 2, Xbox One/Series X|S, macOS, and PC (Steam/Epic Games Store).
