Pan Studio announced on the 2nd that it has released 'Racing Stars,' a new update for its multi-dimensional action RPG, 'Duet Night Abyss.'

The 1.4 'Racing Stars' update introduces a new main story, region, characters, progression systems, and guild content. The new main story unfolds at Bloomfield Station in Icelake City. Players board a train transporting high-profile prisoners, where they encounter new allies and the Forsaken Alliance while battling enemy forces atop the train.

A new steampunk-themed region, 'Florentia Bloomfield Station,' has also been unveiled, featuring a visual aesthetic where historical and industrial districts coexist. The new melee character 'Flora,' who utilizes a special puppet, was added on the 2nd, with the Fire-type character 'Hilda' scheduled to join on the 30th. A new form for the protagonist, the Dark-type 'Moonstone Hunter,' has also been added, allowing players to switch attributes as they progress through the story.

The update introduces the 'Calamity Weapon' system, a new progression mechanic that alters combat styles. Calamity Weapons provide unique skills and trait trees, with upgrade materials obtainable through the new permanent high-difficulty content, 'Deep Exploration.' Additionally, a 'Guild' system has been launched to foster cooperation, offering dedicated chat channels, quests, shops, and asynchronous co-op content titled 'Immersive Theater: A Shared Stage.' To improve accessibility, the beginner experience has been revamped, and an auto-attack feature for mobile has been added.

Events commemorating the update are also underway. Players will receive a Character Selection Chest and a Weapon Selection Chest upon logging in, and can earn additional rewards—including 27 Splendid Hourglasses, 3600 Moonstones, and limited-edition costumes—by participating in event activities.
