Cosmos Entertainment (CEO Lee Ho-hyung) announced on the 28th that it has implemented the 'Balance Party' update for its classic MMORPG, Online Samgukji 2, marking the game's first large-scale balance adjustment project.
The 'Balance Party' is the first comprehensive balance update in the history of Online Samgukji 2. It was developed by actively incorporating user feedback and analyzing server gameplay trends collected following the first Siege War on the Cheongeum server and the online user meeting.
Through this update, Cosmos Entertainment plans to refine combat efficiency and growth paths for each class, providing an environment where users can choose from a more diverse range of combat styles.
Alongside this update, the Cheongeum server is hosting a one-time-only class change event—the first and last of its kind. This event is designed to allow users to adapt to the shifting combat environment by choosing new growth paths while retaining their existing characters. It offers extensive support that goes beyond simple class switching, including the exchange of Weapons, Armor, and Accessories, as well as the ability to change character traits. This allows users to completely redesign their character management, including Equipment and traits, to build a combat style that suits them best.
The Cheongeum server is also in the midst of a '100-Day Festival' to celebrate its 100th day since launch. Running from April 29 to June 18, this promotion features a variety of benefits, including support for new and returning users, attendance Rewards, and growth content for beginners.
New and returning users will receive a 'Cheongeum Growth Support Package' containing Equipment and growth Resources. The '100-Day Attendance' event offers daily attendance Rewards and a 14-day 'Man-in-ji-jeok' (Buff Item). Additionally, 50 existing users will be selected via raffle to receive branded long umbrellas, while 100 new users will receive gaming mouse pads. To assist beginners, the game has also introduced a revamped legion joining structure, increased EXP benefits, and a real-time chat feature with a growth assistant instructor to help with early-game adaptation.
A representative from Cosmos Entertainment expressed deep gratitude for the support shown during the recent online user meeting, the first Siege War on the Cheongeum server, and the 100-Day Festival. They added, We hope users enjoy the new combat styles through our first-ever 'Balance Party' update and the class change event. We plan to roll out various interactive quiz events and content updates, starting with the unveiling of 'Upseong,' and we ask for your continued interest.
