KingKong Soft announced the official domestic launch of 'Star of the Overlord M' on the 26th, a mobile traditional martial arts RPG based on the mega-hit novel by author Gang Ho-pung, which has recorded over 100 million cumulative views.

The new title, Star of the Overlord M, faithfully recreates the vast worldview and robust narrative of the original work. Under the slogan, "A 100-million-view martial arts epic, moving beyond legend to become myth," the game captures the nostalgia and immersion of traditional martial arts in a modern mobile environment. Key characters and iconic scenes from the novel are actively integrated into the storytelling, while combat centered on legendary martial arts techniques and forms maximizes the visceral impact characteristic of the genre. Players can enjoy the experience of cultivating their own characters within the martial arts world by utilizing various skill combinations and the "fated encounter" (Gi-yeon) system.

A core competitive feature is 'Jianghu Hegemony,' a large-scale, clan-based combat system. Players join factions as part of their clans to engage in intense strategic battles for supremacy. Jianghu Hegemony operates in preparation, combat, and truce phases, and enhances the dynamism of large-scale clan wars through a rally system that supports up to 200 units and combat acceleration mechanics. Additionally, the 'Unity of the World' buff system, which boosts combat efficiency through faction member cooperation during the preparation period, further strengthens the game's cooperative and strategic elements.

The individual PvP content, 'Faction Supremacy,' is also noteworthy. Players choose one of three factions—Evil (Sa), Cunning (Gwe), or Righteous (Hyeop)—and compete in a tournament format, starting with preliminaries and culminating in a final round to determine the ultimate winner. A betting system that allows players to predict match outcomes is also included, ensuring that even those not directly participating in combat can enjoy the thrill of spectating.

To celebrate the official launch of Star of the Overlord M, KingKong Soft is hosting a variety of events. These include the 'Secret Coupon of the Overlord' event, which rewards players for answering quizzes correctly, a screenshot event verifying the number '100 million' in-game, and an event for obtaining the three main protagonists (Cheon Ryu-yeong, Baek Un-hoe, and Dok-go Seol).
