Netmarble (CEO Kim Byung-gyu) announced that it will hold a nickname reservation event for its upcoming action-adventure RPG, 'Game of Thrones: Kingsroad' (developed by Netmarble Neo), starting at 2:00 PM on May 8.

The nickname reservation event will take place on the official 'Game of Thrones: Kingsroad' website, where users can participate by logging in and selecting 'Reserve Nickname.' Since each nickname can only be claimed once across all servers, competition among users to secure unique names is expected to be fierce.

Additionally, Netmarble will release a special video on its official YouTube channel at 8:00 PM on May 7, featuring Jang Hyun-il, the PD at Netmarble Neo overseeing the game's development. In the video, the team will share their gratitude for the conclusion of the CBT, discuss the results, and continue communicating with users by highlighting key updates based on player feedback.

Meanwhile, Netmarble has been accepting pre-registrations for 'Game of Thrones: Kingsroad' since February 24. Users who pre-register on PC will receive rewards including one 'Northern Costume,' 10 'Elixir Selection Packs,' and five 'Night's Watch Supply Chests.' Those who pre-register via the Google Play Store and Apple App Store will receive one profile border, one background decoration item, and one appearance change ticket. Pre-registering via SMS will also grant a mount and a horse gear set.

'Game of Thrones: Kingsroad' is scheduled for an early PC release on May 14, followed by a grand launch supporting mobile platforms on May 21.

'Game of Thrones: Kingsroad' is an open-world action RPG currently in development, set during Season 4 of the Emmy and Golden Globe-winning HBO series 'Game of Thrones.' Netmarble is producing the game under an official license from HBO, a subsidiary of Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, and aims to provide maximum immersion by faithfully recreating the world and characters of the original series with high-quality graphics.
