Grinding Gear Games announced the 0.5.0 update for Path of Exile 2, titled 'Return of the Ancients,' via its official YouTube channel today (the 23rd).

The upcoming 'Return of the Ancients' is the fifth update for Path of Exile 2, with further details to be revealed during a livestream on May 8 at 5:00 AM KST. Developers Jonathan and Mark, who have hosted previous broadcasts, will appear to unveil the new cinematic for 'Return of the Ancients,' as well as details on endgame overhauls and new content. Additionally, Australian POE streamer ZiggyD will join the stream to host a Q&A session regarding 'Return of the Ancients' and future changes.
