NC held an Aion 2 live stream on Tuesday, April 21, at 19:30. The broadcast addressed questions raised during the offline event and provided details on the second new dungeon for Season 3.
Health recovery balance is undergoing a major adjustment. The life steal mechanism has been changed, and recovery potions now include an additional effect proportional to maximum HP. Armor breakthrough now grants a 1% increase in HP per stage, and the life steal reduction debuff in Transcendence and Sanctuary has been removed. Overall, the life steal effects of individual class skills have been reduced.
Party synergy for each class has also been overhauled. For damage-dealing classes—Assassin, Ranger, Sorcerer, and Spiritmaster—skills that previously affected party members have been changed to apply only to the user, or their effects have been replaced. For other classes, party synergy has been strengthened. To maintain performance following these synergy changes, overall skill buffs have been implemented.
On Wednesday, April 22, the second new dungeon of Season 3, 'Island of Blue Breath,' will be added. The required item levels are 3,000 for Normal and 3,500 for Hard, and players can obtain Nathara guards, armor, and Eroded necklaces and earrings.
