It has built a massive fan base thanks to its simple, intuitive controls, exhilarating shooting gameplay, and detailed, dynamic pixel art. Since its debut, the series has seen a steady stream of sequels and spin-offs, reaching its 30th anniversary on the 19th.

To celebrate, SNK launched a special website and social media channels on the 19th, while also releasing a commemorative video that looks back on the series' history.
