Blizzard Entertainment’s Diablo Immortal is teaming up with DOOM: The Dark Ages, the third installment in the legendary DOOM reboot series, for a crossover event titled 'Slayer's Reign.' From April 16 to May 13 (KST), players can experience gameplay, monsters, cosmetic items, and progression systems inspired by the dark ages of DOOM.
Following the recent collaboration in Diablo IV’s Season of the Malignant, Diablo Immortal will also showcase the synergy between the mechanical ruthlessness of DOOM and the gothic horror atmosphere of Diablo.
First, Diablo Immortal’s 'Survivor’s Bane' mode will be reimagined as 'Slayer’s Bane,' featuring the iconic aggression and fast-paced action of DOOM. Players must defeat enemies using Slayer-inspired abilities and signature weapons such as the Shield Saw, Dreadmace, and Super Shotgun, earning major rewards through relentless attacks and crowd control.
Furthermore, DOOM monsters are being reborn in the dark fantasy world of Diablo Immortal, with Imps roaming the battlefield and a massive Cyberdemon serving as the final boss of the event.
Players can also obtain the new 'Crucible' legendary gem, inspired by the DOOM universe. The Crucible delivers powerful finishing effects and stacks additional damage, bringing the fantasy of the Slayer’s unstoppable fury into Diablo Immortal’s progression system.
In addition, a variety of cosmetic items and collectibles will be available, including DOOM-themed weapon skins forged with Argent Energy, the Slayer’s iconic Praetor Armor, and new familiars such as the Cacodemon and Serrat mounts.
More details about the Slayer's Reign crossover event can be found on the official Diablo Immortal blog.
