Japanese indie game developer Nestopi announced the official release of the mobile version of its productivity-focused adventure game, 'Chill with You: Lo-Fi Story,' on the App Store and Google Play on April 8. The mobile version adapts the content from the PC original for smartphones, allowing users to continue their 'work calls' with Satone anytime, anywhere.

'Chill with You= Lo-Fi Story' is a game designed to help users focus on studying, documentation, or creative work alongside Satone, a girl who loves writing novels. Rather than a simple visual novel, it combines productivity tools with game-like motivation and narrative. Users can create a personalized focus environment by mixing Lo-Fi music, ambient sounds, and scenery, with their relationship and story with Satone progressing as they spend more time together.

The mobile version focuses on expanding its utility as a 'productivity tool you can use anytime.' It features a UI optimized for vertical screens and is designed for various situations, such as studying, working on the go, or relaxing before bed. It also introduces a 'wallpaper mode,' which hides the UI after a period of inactivity, allowing the call screen to serve as a background.

The free-to-play model is relatively generous. The mobile version is free to download, and while it includes ads, it provides unlimited access to over 30 Lo-Fi tracks and productivity tools, along with the first 10 chapters of the story. Because the productivity tools remain fully functional even if the user stops progressing through the story, it functions more like a practical, free-to-use app than a limited demo.

The game also supports data synchronization with the PC (Steam) version. Users can sync their game progress and productivity data, such as To-Do lists, allowing them to switch seamlessly between PC at home and mobile while on the go. However, the company noted that once the online data sync feature is enabled, the PC version will no longer support offline play.

An in-app purchase for the 'Full Version Upgrade' removes ads and unlocks the entire story and all content. The upgrade is priced at ₩13,500, with a launch discount available for ₩10,800 until April 30. Please note that even if you have already purchased the PC version, a separate purchase is required on the mobile platform to access the full version features.

Meanwhile, the PC version of 'Chill with You: Lo-Fi Story' was released on Steam last November. It currently holds an 'Overwhelmingly Positive' rating on Steam, with 9,876 positive reviews out of 10,010 total.
