Line Games (co-CEOs Park Sung-min, Cho Dong-hyun) has announced upcoming server mergers for 'Uncharted Waters Origin,' an open-world MMORPG serviced by the company and co-developed by Motif (CEO Lee In) and Koei Tecmo Games (CEO Hisashi Koinuma).

The server mergers are intended to provide a smoother gameplay environment for users and will take place in two phases: the first on April 20 and the second on April 27.

The first phase will involve servers in the Korea region, where 'Indian Ocean 1,' 'Indian Ocean 2,' 'Indian Ocean 3,' and 'Coral Sea' will be merged into 'Caribbean Sea.' The second phase will cover the Asia region, merging the 'Indian Ocean' and 'Pacific' servers into the 'Pacific' server.

In addition, the 'Great Voyage' pre-season has begun. Running until the 10th of next month, this pre-season allows players to access comprehensive content from previous seasons, including events where they can obtain seasonal trade goods and navigators from before the server mergers.

During the pre-season, limited-edition trade goods from Season 3 'Golden Age'—'Gold Bars' and 'Silver Bars'—will return. Two new exploration sites have been added, where players can obtain 'Grade 26 Ship Materials' through land exploration. Furthermore, the 'Returned Gold Bar Plunderers' and 'Returned Certificate Plunderer Captain' will appear as new challenges.

In addition, the content update introduces a 'Ship-Specific Imprint' feature. This allows players to apply designated ship imprints (buffs) to their vessels, which can be obtained as rewards for top-ranking performances in high-level content, such as placing first in a nation.

Various events will accompany the update. Through the 'Great Voyage Attendance' event, which runs until midnight on the 12th of next month, players can earn 'Great Voyage Coins' by logging in for 14 days. These coins can be exchanged in the 'Great Voyage Shop' for items such as 'Navigator Exclusive Equipment Selection Tickets' and 'Growth Resources.'

'Great Voyage Coins' can also be earned through the 'Great Voyage Missions' event—which features weekly unlockable missions in trade, adventure, trade II, combat, and investment—and the 'Great Voyage Coin Hunt' event, where players check mail every Saturday for locations to conduct land explorations.
