SEGA Publishing Korea (CEO Saito Go) announced that 'Puyo Puyo Puzzle Pop,' an action puzzle game available through the Apple App Store subscription service 'Apple Arcade,' received an update today, Thursday, April 9, 2026, adding a new mode called 'Puyo Garden.'

In 'Puyo Garden,' players can select their own Puyo, give them names, and enjoy a relaxed life with them. Players can interact with their Puyo by poking them, giving them snacks, or having them exercise.

The update also includes a 'Puyo Battle' mode where players can compete using the Puyo they have raised, as well as a 'Deco Puyo' feature that allows players to collect points and dress up their Puyo in various costumes.

'Puyo Puyo Puzzle Pop' is the latest title in the 'Puyo Puyo' puzzle game series. It offers full-scale Puyo Puyo battles that can be enjoyed anytime, anywhere, featuring simple controls where players connect four or more Puyo of the same color to clear them and experience the thrill of chain reactions. The game includes seven different rule sets, ranging from classic 'Puyo Puyo 2' and 'Puyo Puyo Fever' rules to 'Puzzle Puyo' and 'Mini Puyo Excavation.'

In addition to 'Solo Puyo Puyo' (online battles for up to four players), the game offers a variety of single-player modes. These include 'Adventure Mode,' which features an all-new story; 'Endless,' where players aim for high scores; 'Lesson' mode, for learning Puyo Puyo rules and techniques; and 'Photo Mode,' which allows players to create their own comedy skits.
