Persona 5: The Phantom X officially launched its new version 5.0.1, 'Memories and Truth,' today (April 9).

This update introduces a new 5-star Phantom Thief, 'Motoha Arai: Azure Light.' Additionally, the fifth chapter of the main story has been unlocked, depicting a tale where a peaceful campus life is suddenly plunged into chaos.

The Shimotsuna incident has not only sparked social controversy but also triggered suspicions and a police investigation, with all sorts of speculation and intense scrutiny putting pressure on the Phantom Thieves. After retracing the series of events, they identify the most likely mastermind, but are left bewildered to discover that the only clue is linked to Aran. Amidst this confusion, Magatsu-shin surprisingly announces a new official Phantom.

A series of 2nd-anniversary commemorative events also begins today. Players can earn rich rewards through cumulative attendance, bake their own commemorative cake, and obtain matching decorations in the Palace. Collecting all Phantom Thief scratch cards unlocks massive benefits, and starting a 'Memory Retrospective' allows players to claim event rewards immediately.

Meanwhile, special benefits for the Leader Support campaign, along with Bond Contracts and Revelation Custom events, are launching simultaneously. The P5X 2nd Anniversary Limited Phantom Pass is now available, the first-purchase double bonus has been reset, and players can take advantage of Maruchimu special offers, benefit packages, and consumption rewards. The 2nd Anniversary Leader Support event provides personalized rewards and growth support based on activity history from the first to the second year, allowing players to exchange for up to two 5-star characters based on their performance over the past two years.
