Marvel Contest of Champions Unleashes Dracula, Franken-Castle, and the Final Eidol Chase in October Update

Kabam is unleashing its seasonal surprises in Marvel Contest of Champions, adding a host of spooky-themed content across new Champions, cosmetics, quests, Motion Comic story elements and more that aim to keep Summoners engaged all season long. The studio will spotlight it all in a live broadcast via Twitch.

Founders’ War Saga & Final Eidol Chase Begins

The centerpiece of the seasonal rollout is the final chase for Imperiosa, the culminating Eidol character in Kabam’s ongoing “Founders” storyline. Eidols are original characters introduced earlier in the year—Isophyne, Lumatrix and Solvarch—and Imperiosa is framed as the apex of Eidol evolution. The Imperiosa chase runs from Sept. 17 through Dec. 7, during which players can earn “Invade Essence” to help unlock her.

Meanwhile, the Founders’ War Saga begins Oct. 8 and runs until Jan. 7, 2026, offering narrative content tied to the Eidol conflict. From Oct. 8 to Jan. 21, the Bonus Saga Chase Champion event allows players to collect minion crystals, progress through a Foundation-and-Empire solo event, and unlock 18 new minion Champions with a chance to gain a 7-star Spider-Man (Stealth Suit).

Alongside this major plot push, Kabam is introducing two supernatural Champions: Dracula (Mystic) and Franken-Castle (Skill). Dracula becomes available Oct. 16, while Franken-Castle arrives Oct. 30. To celebrate, the event quest “Children of the Night” will run from Oct. 8 through Nov. 5, tasking players with overcoming creatures of the night in themed battles.

A New Player Bundle Giveaway, dubbed the “Mighty Monsters Bundle,” will run Oct. 13 through Nov. 13. New Summoners can claim 10 monstrous Champions—including Venompool, Ghost Rider, Jack O’Lantern and others—as well as resources to accelerate their progression across a 14-day supply drop.

Additionally, Realm Events themed around “Hunger and Cure” run Oct. 8–29. Players choose a side—Cure or Hunger—and compete in event milestones. The winning side will influence buffs and relic rewards in November.

This seasonal slate also ties into larger community engagement. Summoners Fest 2025, Kabam’s in-person event, is scheduled for Nov. 8 in Vancouver, BC, where top Summoners will compete in Quarter Finals. Attendees will also get a first look at new features, test content and meet developers in person.

With its mix of narrative, spooky flavor, new Champions and competitive stakes, Kabam’s latest season for Marvel Contest of Champions aims to deliver something for longtime fans and new players alike.
