She can debuff opponents by infiltrating their systems, then strike with a complex offensive combo that keeps foes off balance.

Players first glimpse Lucy’s pastel-gradient hair and icy demeanor in her reveal trailer. Little is known about her past—her real name, origins and true motives remain shrouded in secrecy. In battle, she wields a monowire, a whip-like cybernetic weapon capable of restraining and even dismembering enemies. Beyond physical prowess, Lucy’s agility and advanced hacking skills make her a formidable presence when skirting the edge of cyberspace in Night City.

Lucy’s netsurfing exploits reached new heights when she attempted a “deep dive,” an experimental method reserved for the most elite hackers. During that operation, something inexplicable occurred, and she vanished from the digital realm—only to reemerge as a combatant in Neon Clash. Prior to Lucy’s arrival, the August 21 patch will also implement a suite of balance adjustments to fine-tune existing characters.

The update will launch Ranked Match, a long-requested online mode where players face opponents of identical rank to vie for the prestigious “Vanquisher” title. A broader balance overhaul accompanies the mode, ensuring fairer matchups across all tiers.
