Felix "xQc" Lengyel recently took to Discord to take back his previous apology for including gambling on his Twitch streams. The self-proclaimed gambling addict has decided that he is back to gambling full force and doesn't care what his viewers think about it. Others in the streaming space, however, are still concerned about the amount of gambling on the streaming platform.

YouTuber Sykkuno recently stated that he refuses to gamble on stream or include gambling in his content. On May 18, during a five-hour stream, Sykkuno said that he won't fall into the "gambling meta" that is currently taking over Twitch.

“When you have three out of your top five English-speaking streamers doing that it’s... I don’t know, man. I feel like Twitch... I don’t know, it is what it is," the streamer said.

Sykkuno appeared more frustrated with Twitch's Terms of Service rather than his friends who engage in gambling, with the platform continuing to allow streamers to use gambling sites on stream and even be sponsored by gambling companies. It's not uncommon, therefore, to see streamers promote gambling websites by "winning" on a site they are sponsored by — a behavior that's been prevalent in the past with games like CS:GO and skin gambling practices.

With 2.8M subscribers on YouTube and 1.9M on Twitter, Sykkuno is among the latest in a talent outpour from Twitch to Google's video platform. The content creator has called out Twitch in the past for mistreating their big streamers — including spelling his name wrong in an email — and his hard stance on gambling is another vocal critique of the leading streaming platform.
