Four years after Epic Games release Fortnite, it would be easier to name the companies that haven't partnered with the battle royale title than those that have. As of Thursday afternoon, Riot Games can be added to the list.

As part of their RiotX Arcane campaign, Riot announced that Jinx, the wild, gun-loving character known and loved in the League of Legends universe would be making her debut in Fortnite later in the evening. For the first time in Riot's history, a League of Legends character would be featured in a non-Riot sponsored game.

Within Fortnite's in-game shop, players will be able to get their hands on the following goods:

  • Arcane Jinx Outfit
  • Pow Pow Crusher Pickaxe
  • Jinxed Spray
  • Jinx's Dream Monkey Back Bling
  • Playgrounds (Instrumental) Lobby Track
  • Wreaking Havoc Loading Screen
  • Katchoo! Loading Screen

This partnership is the first collaboration between the two gaming companies, the latest activation in the recently announced RiotX Arcane event, a month-long experience bringing all of its products together to celebrate the launch of Arcane, Riot’s first animated series.

To celebrate the entrance of Jinx into the world of Fortnite, Riot is also bringing a selection of the Riot Games product portfolio (League of Legends PC, Teamfight Tactics, Legends of Runeterra, VALORANT) to the Epic Games Store.

Fortnite, one of the most popular games in the world, generates billions of dollars per year in revenue for Epic Games and features hundreds of millions of players each month, according to the company.
