Team Vitality has announced its rosters for the upcoming League of Legends European Championship and La Ligue Française seasons. Mathias "Szygenda" Jensen will be making his LEC debut as the new starting top laner for Team Vitality, and the team will part ways with top laner Lucas "Cabochard" Simon-Meslet. In addition, VIT's academy team, Vitality.Bee, will sport a whole new roster in the 2021 LFL.
Mathias "Szygenda" Jensen joined Team Vitality from AGO Rogue, Rogue's academy team that competes in the Ultraliga. Szygenda impressed throughout AGO Rogue's 2020 season, which included a 1st place finish in Ultraliga Spring, a 2nd place finish at Ultraliga Summer, and a 1st place finish again at EU Masters. Szygenda was one of the brightest spots on the team, and will join the other four members from VIT's 2020 roster for the 2021 LEC Season.
Confirmed player signings are in green. Confirmed player departures are in strikethrough red. Transfers reported by reputable sources are in purple.
Szygenda isn't the only one to come from AGO Rogue to Team Vitality. Mateusz "Tasz" Borkowsk, who was an analyst for AGO Rogue, will be the Head Coach for Vitality.Bee in 2021. Tasz will lead a roster that sports entirely new talent to the Team Vitality organization: top laner Miłosz "Raven" Domagalski, jungler Jonas "Memento" Elmarghichi, mid laner Dimitri "Diplex" Ponomarev, AD carry Ludvig Erik Hugo "SMILEY" Granquist and support Morgan "HustlinbeasT" Granberg.
