The 2020 League of Legends World Championship is officially underway, which means that a new set of merchandise to commemorate the event will soon be available. Riot Games has yet to make any official announcement about what the merch will look like or when it will go on sale, but thanks to an active, seasoned community, a first look at the apparel and accessories has been revealed.
The Worlds 2020 Merch Collection was posted to Twitter by a prominent community member just before the start of the event itself. The collection features jackets, hoodies, t-shirts, joggers, two snapback hats, and a pin. The majority of the apparel is in sleek black and grey, but a line of hoodies with "TakeOver" written down the front is also available in four different colors.
Every season, each World Championship merchandise collection has a running theme, and this year, a lot of the apparel is based on or around the official song for Worlds 2020, "Take Over." Take Over has become the mantra for Worlds 2020 leading up to the event.
