Solid Gold Duos LTM has returned to Fortnite as part of Fortnite Winterfest. The Limited Time Mode is one of many modes to be brought back during Winterfest, and features a modified game of duos  with a map that has all gold weapons. 

Gold weapons, classified formally as Legendary Weapons, are the rarest tier of guns in Fortnite. They possess superior power and precision to all other weapon classes, so to put ONLY Legendary Weapons on the map makes for chaotic, explosive combat. The Legendary SCAR has been a favorite long before the start of Fortnite Chapter 2, and the Legendary AUG has quickly joined it amongst the most popular guns since its inception at the start of Chapter 2. 

Fortnite has continued its usual pace of updates and downloadable content throughout Fortnite Winterfest, but in addition to Solid Gold Duos and other LTMs returning for stints of time, old outfits have also been brought back.

On Christmas, Fortnite gave every player in Save The World a complimentary Smörgåsbord Llama while rolling out a whole new set of holiday cosmetics.
