T1 secured a 2-0 sweep against Dplus KIA in the Legend Group of the 2026 LoL Champions Korea (LCK) regular season Round 3, held at LoL PARK in Jongno on the 6th. Although they suffered a setback in their opening match against kt Rolster, T1 regained their momentum with an away victory at Gen.G Esports' home arena, and they appeared to be back in top form during today's match.
The following is the full transcript of the interview with Interim Head Coach Lim Jae-hyeon and Lee 'Faker' Sang-hyeok.

Q. Let's start with your thoughts on the victory.
Interim Head Coach Lim Jae-hyeon = I think our performance today was quite clean, and I'm happy with the 2-0 win.
'Faker' = Personally, I'm satisfied because I think the team was well-synchronized in today's match.
Q. After losing the first match of Round 3, you beat Gen.G last week and Dplus KIA today. Could you tell us about the changes or improvements that allowed you to win two consecutive matches with such strong performances?
Interim Head Coach Lim Jae-hyeon = First of all, I felt that as a team, we weren't adhering to the basics, so we started by addressing those areas and realigning ourselves toward a more fundamental approach. There were several issues, but it's difficult to go into those details. Overall, everyone played well today. I think we got a good result because the players and coaching staff communicated effectively.
Q. As the eldest member of the team, how did you help align the team's direction?
'Faker' = After our failures in the last international tournament, we had many situations where we lost leads and were reversed, so we all talked about those issues. Naturally, the players felt a lot of regret after the international tournament and had a strong desire to do better next time. Because of that, I think we prepared by thinking more deeply than before about our shortcomings, the issues where we get reversed while ahead, and our weaknesses.
Q. Looking at your post-loss interviews, it seemed like the players were struggling with mental pressure and a drop in confidence. How did you handle that mental care.
Interim Head Coach Lim Jae-hyeon = When losses accumulate, confidence naturally drops, and I think that leads to moments of hesitation during skirmishes or macro play. However, I believe our form is returning and we are improving, so if we play with confidence, we will be fine.
Q. 'Phase' Kim Su-hwan has reached 200 LCK wins. Could you share a word of congratulations?
Interim Head Coach Lim Jae-hyeon = Huge congratulations on the 200 wins. Even though he is the youngest on the team, I often feel very reassured by him, so I hope he continues to perform consistently well.
'Faker' = 'Phase' received the Player of the Match (POM) award today as well. I think he is a player who performs his role exceptionally well, so I want to thank him for always playing so well.
Q. It is said that 'Phase' reached 200 wins quite rapidly. From your perspective, what qualities in 'Phase' have enabled him to achieve such impressive results at such a young age?
'Faker' = When I look at 'Phase', he thinks about the game a lot and puts in a great deal of effort in his daily life. I believe it is thanks to that constant effort and study that he performs so well in tournaments.
Q. As is the case every year, T1 has a very busy schedule in the second half of the season. How are you coping with this grueling pace.
'Faker' = There isn't much I can do directly regarding the schedule, so I think it's important for each player to manage their own rest time well. Although our team's schedule is tight, I personally don't find it too difficult because I believe the players are able to play in a comfortable environment.
Q. When T1's performance was poor, you often mentioned difficulties in meta analysis. I'm curious if this has improved.
Interim Head Coach Lim Jae-hyeon = Looking back at tournaments like the EWC or MSI, I think we took a long, roundabout path in terms of the meta, which leaves me with a lot of regret. Therefore, for the remaining matches, we will continue to research in a direction that clearly highlights our strengths.
Q. Your next opponent is Hanwha Life. Could you both share your resolve for that match.
Interim Head Coach Lim Jae-hyeon = Although we won 2-0 today, I definitely think there are areas where we can perform even better as a team. I will discuss those parts well with the players so that we can win against Hanwha Life and continue our winning streak.
'Faker' = We will prepare hard for the next match against Hanwha Life.
