NC's MMORPG 'Throne & Liberty (TL)' has implemented a large-scale system update alongside the new region, 'Nyx.' The core of this update lies not just in the addition of new areas and weapons, but in a complete overhaul of the equipment growth structure. The existing enhancement-focused growth system has been redesigned based on item levels, and new growth systems and equipment acquisition structures have been introduced to refresh the seasonal environment.

First, the new region 'Nyx' has been added. In Nyx, players can enjoy the new Adventure Codex 'Part 3: Frozen Tundra' and the side story 'Remnants of Nyx,' while acquiring new resources and equipment. A new weapon, 'Gauntlets,' has also been introduced. Gauntlets are melee weapons characterized by powerful combo attacks and stance switching, allowing players to toggle between tank and damage dealer roles depending on the situation.

The character level cap has been expanded to 60, and the levels for weapon specialization and integrated specialization have also been increased. New active skills and Legend grade skills have been added, and an armor rune system has been introduced. Combat balance across both PVP and PvE environments has been readjusted, including changes to the calculation methods for attack speed and movement speed.

The core content of the new region is the 'Purification System.' By taking 'Red Frost' items obtained in Nyx to the 'Schermir's Celestial Sphere' purification device, players can obtain new equipment, runes, and growth materials. The purification process requires a new resource called 'Purification Flame,' which can be gathered through various content throughout the Nyx region.

The most significant change in this update is the overhaul of the equipment growth structure. The previous enhancement, transfer, and linkage systems have been removed and replaced with an item level-based growth system. Moving forward, players will develop their equipment through a 'Succession' system, which allows them to transfer growth stats from existing gear to newly acquired, higher-level equipment.

Equipment-related systems have also been completely revamped. Traits are now grown using dedicated materials rather than the equipment itself, and the Resonance system has been redesigned to use separate resources. Additionally, a 'Potential' system has been added, which randomly grants stats or skill enhancement effects, and the previous 'Rubbing' system has been replaced by a 'Sealing' system that creates tradable equipment.

A large amount of new equipment has been added. In the Nyx region, players can acquire new sets of weapons, armor, and accessories, all of which feature higher growth caps than existing gear. Furthermore, the addition of various growth elements—such as PVP-exclusive equipment, new skill cores, and new runes—has completely reshaped the overall seasonal environment.
