The Korea e-Sports Association (KeSPA) announced on the 24th that the final winner of the FC Mobile division of the 2026 Korean Esports League (KEL) will be decided in Busan on the 28th.
Launched last year, the KEL aims to foster regional esports talent and strengthen local competitiveness. Now in its second year, the league provides a stage for players to gain practical experience while also focusing on professional development and job creation. Offline matches are held in collaboration with regional esports arenas in Busan, Gwangju, Jinju (Gyeongnam), and Daejeon.
The 2026 KEL FC Mobile main stage, which kicked off on May 16, ran for six days until June 14. A total of 24 players from 12 regions participated, with the top two from each group—eight players in total—advancing to the finals. The finalists are: Group A's Beelzebul Kim Tae-hyun (GJ Maestro) and Hosu Kim Tae-ho (Daejeon Tom & Jerry); Group B's KKR Kim Gyeong-rae (Chungnam CNJ) and Valverde Shim Seong-bo (Goyang Mir); Group C's Useojang Jang Jae-hyuk (Daejeon Tom & Jerry) and Dungle-ge Kwon Min-seok (Next Gyeongnam); and Group D's Ahina Yu Chang-ho (Jeonnam Esports) and Hoebaeksuk Park Hee-chan (Gyeonggi Inate).
Notably, last year's inaugural KEL FC Mobile champion, Ahina Yu Chang-ho, has reached the finals again and is aiming for a second consecutive title. Yu dominated Group D, finishing with a 9-1 record and conceding only 21 goals, earning the 'Least Goals Conceded' award on days 2 and 4 of the main stage. Meanwhile, Group A's Beelzebul Kim Tae-hyun recorded 9 wins, 1 loss, and 60 goals, winning the 'Top Scorer' award on days 1, 3, and 5. These standout performances have heightened anticipation for the final stage.
The finals to determine the 2026 KEL FC Mobile champion will take place on the 27th and 28th at the Busan Esports Arena (Busan Jin-gu), starting at 12:00 PM each day. The winner will receive the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Award and a prize of ₩10 million. The runner-up will receive the Korea Creative Content Agency President Award and ₩5 million, while the third-place finisher will receive the Korea e-Sports Association President Award and ₩2 million. Additionally, the top two finalists will qualify as the Korean representatives for the FC PRO Mobile Mid-Season, the premier international tournament held later this year.
Various events are planned for onsite spectators and online viewers. All attendees will receive 1k FC Mobile FV and a lucky draw entry, with prizes including Sidiz gaming chairs and coupons for Kkuburakko Charcoal Chicken. After the matches on the 28th, a fan signing event will be held for FN Sejong team players SODA Hong Ji-hong and Lee Won-sang, with participants receiving an additional 1k FV. Other activities include in-game cheering events, and viewers on Naver Chzzk will be eligible for Drops rewards.
Tickets for the 2026 KEL FC Mobile finals can be purchased through the designated ticketing platform starting at 8:00 PM on the 19th until 8:00 AM on the day of the match. Tickets are priced at ₩3k each.
Additionally, a live viewing event for the 6th day of the PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds Mobile main stage will be held at the Busan Esports Arena. Fans can watch the broadcast alongside commentators from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM on the 28th, with free admission and no prior reservation required. This is the final main stage match before the finals in late July.
The FC Mobile finals will be broadcast by caster Lee Sung-hoon and commentator Youngmeter, while the PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds Mobile matches will feature caster Shim Ji-soo and commentator Jeoljeolpo Han Jung-wook. Matches will be streamed live on the official KEL Naver Chzzk, SOOP, and YouTube channels, as well as the official channels for each game.
The 2026 KEL FC Mobile finals are hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, co-organized by the Korea e-Sports Association and Nexon, and sponsored by the Busan Esports Arena, SK Telecom, Kkuburakko Charcoal Chicken, and the Korea Creative Content Agency.
