A State of Play event featuring information on various new titles, including Marvel's Wolverine, will take place on June 3.

The upcoming State of Play will be broadcast live via YouTube and Twitch on June 3 at 6:00 AM KST. The presentation will run for over 60 minutes and feature updates on PS5 titles from studios around the world, as well as new game announcements and gameplay footage.

The highlight of the broadcast is Marvel's Wolverine, the upcoming title from Insomniac Games scheduled for release on September 15. The event will reveal new details about the game, including scenes of Logan's brutal and ruthless combat.

The game offers a complete reimagining of the iconic Wolverine character from the comics. It is a third-person action-adventure game currently in development by Insomniac Games, the studio behind the successful Marvel's Spider-Man series. In the game, Wolverine will engage in savage claw combat and unleash his berserker rage as he seeks answers about his past.

Meanwhile, with numerous rumors recently circulating regarding new titles from Sony's first-party studios, gamers are paying close attention.

It will be particularly interesting to see if the broadcast reveals new information on highly anticipated titles, such as Naughty Dog's Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet, Guerrilla's Horizon: Hunters Gathering, or the latest entry in the God of War series, which has been the subject of persistent rumors.

In addition to Sony's State of Play, various game companies are hosting showcases to coincide with the Summer Game Fest 2026 season. Xbox will also hold a showcase and a Gears of War: E-Day Direct on June 8, KST.
