The Diablo IV development team delivered Chuseok holiday greetings and expressed gratitude to Korean fans.
On September 24, the first day of the Chuseok holiday, Blizzard released a "Developers' Chuseok Greeting Video" on the official Korean Diablo YouTube channel, featuring Associate Game Director Zaven Haroutunian. Haroutunian greeted Korea's "Dark Wanderers" and shared warm wishes ahead of Chuseok.
Noting that Diablo celebrates its 30th anniversary this year, he reflected on how players around the world have explored Sanctuary, fought the forces of Hell, and made unforgettable memories over the past 30 years. He expressed deep gratitude for sharing that journey with Korean fans in particular.
Alongside this message, he introduced Diablo IV's Season 15, 'Legacy of Hell'. This season celebrates the history of Diablo by bringing together iconic characters, villains, locations, and rewards from across the franchise. Deckard Cain guides players on a journey retracing the memories of past Dark Wanderers as they once again face the Prime Evils—Baal, Mephisto, and Diablo. He also mentioned nostalgic rewards from previous titles, including the Stone of Jordan.
Haroutunian highlighted players ranging from those who have been with the franchise since the original Diablo to newcomers starting their adventure in Diablo IV, explaining that this season is designed to commemorate the players and memories that have shaped Diablo over the past 30 years.
Towards the end of the video, he reiterated his heartfelt thanks to the Korean community. Expressing gratitude for their long-standing passion and support, he stated that Diablo as it exists today would not have been possible without Korean fans. He concluded the video by wishing everyone a happy Chuseok with their families and loved ones, closing with a promise to meet again in Sanctuary.
