Gyeonggi Nongshim RedForce won the PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds Mobile finals of the '2026 Korea Esports League (2026 KEL),' held at the Daejeon Esports Arena in Yuseong-gu, Daejeon, on the 25th and 26th, with an overwhelming score of 213 points. They finished with nearly double the points of the runner-up, Dplus KIA (109 points).

The following is the full transcript of the victory interview with Gyeonggi Nongshim RedForce.

Q. First, I'd like to hear your thoughts on the win.

'TIZ1' Kim Dong-hyun: I'm so happy we won. It feels great knowing we took first place because my teammates played so well

'SoiG' Song Ho-jin: I'm thrilled that we were able to show the results of our hard work in this tournament.

'Exi' Kim Jun-ha: We had some years where the team's performance wasn't great, and I'm grateful to the company for trusting and waiting for us until the end. I'm glad we could finally repay that faith.

'Hyunbin' Jung Hyun-bin: I think we were able to win because every single one of my teammates played so well.

Q. (To 'Exi') You were named Finals MVP.

'Exi': The biggest factor was that my teammates trusted and followed my calls and engagement angles. Since I was the one seeing the field, it was natural for me to pick up a lot of kills. I believe I was able to win MVP because my teammates trusted me and followed my lead.

Q. (To 'SoiG') As the main shotcaller, what do you think was the secret to winning with such an overwhelming score.

'SoiG': In terms of operations, we just played as safely as possible, and I think our combat prowess was the biggest factor. My teammates were excellent.

Q. (To 'SoiG') Once the win was secured, it looked like you were intentionally seeking out engagements to rack up more kills.

'SoiG': Once everyone realized we had secured the win, our spirits were high, and I think we did that because we wanted to widen the gap with the second-place team in terms of kill points.

Q. There are few offline tournaments for PUBG Mobile. How does it feel to gain experience on stage now that the KEL has been established.

'Hyunbin': I find playing offline matches much more fun and thrilling than playing online.

Q. A word on your resolve for the upcoming international tournament.

'TIZ1': We won the KEL and had good results in previous tournaments. Rather than being arrogant and thinking we'll definitely take first place because we're good, I think we need to stay focused and not lose our edge, especially since we haven't faced these international opponents yet.

'SoiG': I believe the level of the Korean league has risen significantly. I think if we take what we've been doing here and apply it to the international stage, we can definitely succeed.

'Exi': I've finished in last place at international tournaments, and I've also finished in first. Winning this time made me realize that if we stick to what we prepared during our training period, our superior combat ability will lead to good results. I don't think we need to change our strategy just because it's an international tournament; we should just keep doing what we're doing.

'Hyunbin': If we reduce our individual mistakes and play our game, I think we'll win.

Q. (To 'Exi' and 'Hyunbin') You will be representing Korea at the Nagoya Asian Games. What is your resolve?

'Exi': I am grateful for the opportunity to compete in such a major tournament while representing my country. I will do my best to bring home the gold medal.

'Hyunbin': Thank you for giving me the opportunity to compete on such a big stage. I will practice hard and perform well.
