With the July 23 (Thu) update for Goddess of Victory: Nikke, the pickup for Laplace: Ultimate Hero (Alt Laplace) has begun. Alt Laplace is a Burst III Firepower-type damage dealer, with Wind code and a Launcher as her weapon.

The most notable feature of Alt Laplace is her weapon transformation. After five full-charge attacks, her weapon switches to an MG that fires lasers. Unlike the original version, which triggers this via Burst, this version allows for free movement and manual control. Given her nature as a rapid-fire piercing MG, she is expected to deliver unparalleled firepower in boss battles with multiple parts.

Her base stats are also solid. She possesses a high-coefficient self-Attack buff based on her Max HP. She demonstrates firepower on par with the recently released Arc Ranger Black. Since Wind-code damage dealers are in short supply, Alt Laplace is expected to see frequent use across various content.

There are a few things to keep in mind when using Alt Laplace. First, do not use the 'tap-tap' technique. While players often use this control method with Launchers or Snipers to charge the Burst gauge quickly, it is recommended to leave Alt Laplace on auto, as she needs to fulfill the weapon transformation condition through full-charge attacks.

For Overload gear, you must prioritize increasing Ammo Capacity. Since Alt Laplace's damage output effectively comes from her MG mode, you need to secure as much ammo as possible. Because Ammo Recharge cubes and skills like those of Little Mermaid do not apply in MG mode, the value of the Ammo Capacity increase option is significantly higher.

Furthermore, because Alt Laplace has many self-Attack buffs, the efficiency of additional Attack increase options is relatively lower. If you have already secured enough Elemental Damage options, it is recommended to prioritize Ammo Capacity over Attack. Aiming for three or more lines of this stat is ideal.

#. Arc Ranger Black - Rouge - Alt Laplace - Alt Maxwell - Maxwell

This is a Solo Raid deck used as a 3rd or 4th-tier Wind-code team. Because Alt Laplace's Attack increases based on her Max HP, she pairs well with Rouge. While using the Frica-Mint combination can raise the damage ceiling, the current value of Alt Laplace makes it hard to justify that level of investment. Based on currently available information, she is also expected to have good synergy with Alt Maxwell.

#. Tia - Liter - Naga - Ein - Alt Laplace

This is a deck for climbing the Missilis manufacturer tower. Both Ein and Alt Laplace possess AoE Burst damage, making them useful for tower stages where many enemies appear. The deck composition may change once Alt Maxwell is added in the future.
