New Pentagon Member: Aris Added
A Versatile Hero Expected to Serve as a Defense-Deck Damage Dealer
A new Legendary hero from the Pentagon, Aris, has been added to Seven Knights Re:BIRTH. Aris is a versatile hero characterized by her ability to deal damage based on both her Physical damage and the target's Defense.
Aris' basic attack deals damage to a single enemy proportional to her Physical damage and the target's Defense. When the skill is enhanced, it has a chance to inflict Stun. Her first skill, 'Smash Them!', hits a single enemy five times. Enhancing this skill adds a Penetration effect, and at Transcendence level 2, it can be triggered once more consecutively if the target is eliminated. This skill is expected to be a reliable finisher for single targets.
Her second skill, 'Shall We Finish This?', deals damage to all enemies twice and has a chance to inflict Stun. Her passive, 'Earth's Energy', is the core of her kit. Upon death, she revives with 80% HP, and she gains stacks of 'Earth Dragon's Rage' whenever she is hit by an enemy. Earth Dragon's Rage is a stacking effect that increases damage dealt and Physical damage, stacking up to 30 times. Additionally, it increases the Block chance for all allies and provides a shield to the allied front line when a skill is activated.

Aris Ascension Also Arrives
Will Rudy's Ascension Shift the Defense-Type Meta?
The new hero Aris can be Ascended immediately upon release. Ascended Aris features enhanced basic attacks and Active Skills, with some effects previously requiring skill enhancement now applied by default. Her basic attacks deal more damage and include Stun by default, while her first skill, 'Smash Them!', now includes Penetration damage as a base effect. Her second skill, 'Shall We Finish This?', also sees an increase in damage.
Her passive, 'Earth's Energy', is also enhanced in her Ascended state. Upon revival, her HP increases to 100%, and she gains stacks of Earth Dragon's Rage and Ascension gauge whenever she is hit. When she revives, she gains 10 stacks of Earth Dragon's Rage, and the Block chance increase for all allies and the shield provided to the front line are both stronger than in her base state.
Her Ascension skill is also noteworthy. It permanently applies a reduction to incoming healing and Block chance for all enemies. Whenever she successfully blocks, she deals damage proportional to Defense and reduces turn-based buffs on the target. Furthermore, all her damage ignores Defense, and she provides HP recovery and debuff removal to all allies. Given the significant effects of this skill, it is expected to be an essential growth element.

Rudy's Ascension has also been added. Ascended Rudy is a Defense-type hero who utilizes 'Defensive Stance' stacks. He builds these stacks through basic attacks and his first skill, 'Charge', while his second skill, 'Defensive Preparation', provides Link, debuff removal, and HP recovery to all allies. At Transcendence level 2, the duration of the Link increases, and at level 6, immunity to crowd control is added. Each stack of Defensive Stance increases Defense by 15%, up to a maximum of 4 stacks.
His passive, 'Sturdy Shield', increases the Defense of all allies and provides a Link, while granting himself Damage Reduction and Counterattack. The allied front line can gain Damage Reduction when Rudy is hit by enemy attacks a certain number of times.
His Ascension skill, 'Judgment of Glory', attacks all enemies, reduces their Ascension gauge, and grants a Link to all allies. Enhancing the skill increases the amount of Ascension gauge reduction. Because it has the unique effect of delaying the opponent's Ascension activation, it is expected to create new variables on the battlefield.

Rudy and Juri Balance Adjustments
Changes to Common Skill Structures and Passive Effects
Hero balance adjustments have also been implemented for Rudy and Juri. Along with his Ascension, Rudy's existing Common Skills have been adjusted. 'Charge' has been changed from targeting a single enemy to targeting three enemies with the most buffs, and it now combines turn-based buff reduction with Stun. While his single-target damage has decreased, he is now better positioned to keep multiple enemies in check.
Defensive Preparation' maintains its structure of providing Link and debuff removal to all allies, but now includes damage reduction within the Link effect. Enhancing the skill increases the reduction rate, and Transcendence levels 2 and 6 grant increased Link duration and crowd control immunity.
His passive, 'Sturdy Shield', has also been adjusted. Counterattack has been added to the existing Defense increase and Damage Reduction effects, allowing him to deal damage and inflict Stun on a single enemy upon counterattacking. The structure where Defense increase and Damage Reduction values rise with skill enhancement remains unchanged.
Juri has also received several skill adjustments. Her basic attacks now deal damage proportional to the target's max HP, and her first skill, 'Heavenly Judgment', has been changed to deal Penetration damage. Her second skill, 'Supreme Verdict', retains its 'Obliteration' effect while increasing in damage, strengthening her role in countering revival or immortality-type effects.
Her passive, 'God's Scales', has been adjusted to focus on survival and enhanced coordinated attacks. The 'All Damage Immunity' effect has been increased from 2 hits to 3, and a coordinated attack chance increase has been added when 'Immortality' is triggered. Additionally, after a certain number of her attacks, she gains a turn-based buff increase effect. At Transcendence level 2, effect resistance is added, and at level 6, she gains crowd control immunity, including during Immortality. With the basic attack adjustments and increased coordinated attack chance, she is expected to be more impactful than before.

Convenience Improvements
Auto-Tuning, Auto-Salvage, and 'Jjol-jak' (Fodder Leveling) Improvements
Convenience improvements related to Exclusive Equipment have been applied. First, an 'Auto-Tuning' function has been added to the Equipment Growth Tuning menu. By setting the desired option grade and type, the system will automatically repeat tuning until an option meeting the criteria appears.
An 'Auto-Salvage' function has also been added. Common equipment obtained during Adventure (Normal/Nightmare) repeat battles or Exclusive Equipment summons can now be immediately salvaged into 'Tuning Crystals'. This can be configured in the Adventure repeat battle settings or the Exclusive Equipment summon menu.
Repeat battle hero placement has also been improved. When forming a team for repeat battles, heroes with a base grade of 3 stars or lower can now be placed in duplicate. This applies to Adventure, Scenario Events, Growth Dungeons, Raids, and Surprise Raids. Even if a 3-star hero is evolved to 4 stars, they are treated as the same hero, allowing for duplicate placement. This change is expected to improve the convenience of leveling fodder heroes.
The Weekly Request tab has been reorganized, and Melkire's Laboratory now allows for bulk registration of material heroes and the ability to skip animations. Additionally, surprise missions have been added to the Real-time Arena, guild manager benefits have been enhanced, and a 'Surrender' function has been added to Guild Wars.
