The Busan Indie Connect Festival 2026 online event kicked off on August 7. The festival will run for 22 days until August 28, and a single ticket allows visitors to freely experience the exhibited games throughout the event period.

The Busan Metropolitan City, the Busan IT Industry Promotion Agency, and the Busan Indie Connect Festival Organizing Committee announced that the Busan Indie Connect Festival 2026 (BIC Festival 2026, hereafter BIC 2026) online festival will run from August 7 to 28.

This year's online festival is hosted on the official BIC website. The number of participating titles has increased compared to last year, and with a single online exhibition ticket, visitors can access the site at their convenience throughout the 22-day event to play the featured games without restrictions.

The exhibition features categories including 'General,' 'Rookie,' 'Connect Pick,' 'Public Indie,' and 'Prime Indie.' The lineup ranges from works by individual creators to titles showcased by global platform companies, including 'online-exclusive' games that cannot be found at the offline event.

The online festival is designed to minimize constraints on time and location. Domestic and international visitors who cannot attend in person can participate online and play their favorite exhibition titles repeatedly over the three-week period.

Communication features between visitors and developers are also provided. Users can send direct feedback to developers after playing their games, and special events for online festival participants will also be held.
