News that BTS member V has reached the Diamond II Tier in 'League of Legends' (LoL) has become a hot topic among fans.

On the 2nd, V posted a video on his Instagram story. The video, captioned 'Anyone want to play a 5-stack?', showed that he had successfully promoted to Diamond II in the Solo/Duo ranked queue. His season record, as revealed in the video, stands at 44 wins and 28 losses, showing he achieved the promotion with a solid win rate.
LoL ranks are divided into 10 tiers: Iron, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Emerald, Diamond, Master, Grand Master, and Challenger. The ranking system follows a pyramid structure where the number of users decreases as the tier gets higher. Diamond 2 is known to represent approximately the top 2.5% of all LoL players, meaning V possesses skills that place him among the elite.
V is known to have consistently played ranked LoL and maintained a high skill level. He previously shared a photo of his promotion to Diamond in 2024. At the time, he also verified that he had reached Honor Level 5, earning him praise not only for his gaming skills but also for his good sportsmanship.
The LoL tiers of other celebrities have also drawn attention. Singer and musical actor Kim Jun-su (XIA) reportedly reached the Master Tier last year, while Seventeen's Wonwoo, actress Han So-hee, and Super Junior's Kim Hee-chul are also known to be Diamond Tier players. Kara's Heo Young-ji and ILLIT's Minju have reached the Platinum rank, primarily playing Zyra and Katarina, respectively, while actress Park Ji-hyun has revealed that she once reached the Master Tier in Teamfight Tactics (TFT).
Unlike their glamorous appearances on stage, seeing these stars focused in front of a monitor to climb the ranks seems to be another 'unexpected charm' that resonates with fans.
