Superfast (CEO Kim Kang-an) announced that it will host 'SUPERFAST NEXT,' a program to discover next-generation game development teams, on Saturday, July 4, at 'Superfast Seongsu' in Seongsu-dong, Seoul.
SUPERFAST NEXT is a practical game investment platform designed to identify promising games and connect them with actual investment and publishing opportunities. Through this event, Superfast aims to proactively secure competitive games and development teams for the global market, with the long-term goal of building a robust game lineup that becomes a staple in the smartphone and PC libraries of global users.
Applications will be accepted from June 8 to June 17. Teams developing for any platform—including mobile, PC, and console—are eligible to apply, provided they have a project that is at least 70% complete and ready for release within the first half of 2027.
Applicants must submit a company and team introduction, a detailed game proposal, the application form, and either a playable build file or a high-definition gameplay video.
Document screening results will be announced on June 25, and 20 finalists will be invited to participate in the SUPERFAST NEXT event on July 4. The event will feature team presentation sessions and a 'Build Play' session, where judges will play the games themselves to evaluate their intuitive fun, level of polish, and development capabilities on-site.
SUPERFAST NEXT distinguishes itself from traditional demo days with a unique evaluation method. Instead of complex criteria, it focuses on two core pillars: 'Different' and 'Fast.' 'Different' refers to unique fun and experiences that set the game apart from existing titles, while 'Fast' measures development speed and the ability to respond to user feedback.

Selected teams will be considered for customized investment and publishing opportunities ranging from ₩50 million to ₩1 billion, tailored to the scale of the game and the team's capabilities, utilizing Superfast's recently secured ₩11.1 billion in internal funding.
Beyond simple financial support, selected teams will be offered various collaboration opportunities to validate the commercial potential of their games.
First, teams can utilize Superfast's proprietary AI-based data analysis solution to conduct precise analysis of key metrics related to marketability.
Additionally, they will have the opportunity to quickly verify the fun factor of their games by gauging real user reactions through Superfast's proprietary HTML5-based game platform.
Furthermore, depending on the progress of partnership discussions, collaboration opportunities linked to the Superfast Group's unique cross-media infrastructure—including marketing, publishing, content, and offline business—will be explored. This will allow selected teams to secure diverse growth opportunities for IP expansion and global market entry beyond just the initial game launch.
“We trust builds more than business plans,” said Kim Kang-an, CEO of Superfast. “What matters more than a good presentation is the actual fun that captivates users. Through SUPERFAST NEXT, we aim to be the first to discover games with global hit potential and become the partner that helps them establish a foothold in the market as quickly as possible.”
Online applications will be available on the Superfast website starting June 8.
